I've seen hitch mounts that could do the job, but my preference is to attack some sort of mount to the L track. I may use it for tailgating as well, so I want it to last. Or I guess in a pinch you cpuld fix something to the bed floor? I don't know. Does this product exist and where can I lay...
I've got my eye on one of these, because (a) I swim laps for exercise, and it's nice to have a cold protein shake afterwards; and (b) sometimes my dog rides along, and the fridge would block her favorite path to the accelerator pedal, which is safer.
Don't think I'd run it all the time, but...
There are a few turns around me that my CT gets wrong like this. Yesterday it turned into the oncoming lane while a minivan was approaching (~300 feet away) in that wrong lane. I used some colorful words on the report.
When I build the route that way, it looks correct. When I get into the truck, it automatically switches to the farm access road instead. My theory is the map we see in the vehicle is different than the map it's using to plan, because the display has all the right roads available, and navigation...
I don't think I'm being overly dramatic when I say the Cybertruck is the greatest accomplishment mankind has ever or will ever attain.
Also, one of the most frustrating experiences in the world is when you can see that your route is wrong, and you know exactly how to fix it, and you have no...
I've finally figured out what's making my CT dive out of the lane periodically, as though trying to avoid a ghost. Big tire marks in the road send me into some sort of collision-avoidance maneuver, even when there are no cars ahead. Today it actually departed across the double yellow line, into...
I had three today. Two lefthand turns that cut the corner and drove in the oncoming lane too long for comfort, plus once on the way out of town (going straight, good visibility) it just lurched left over a double yellow for no discernable reason whatsoever. I used some colorful language in the...
I was getting something out of the back, and the plastic "sail" piece on the driver's side (the slanty bit, with the Vault controls on it) lifted right up off the body of the truck and then immediately snapped back down into place. The buttons didn't work immediately afterwards, but I closed the...
Foundation series was more expensive than this vehicle needed to be. At its current price, I would have no regrets at all. As it is, I'm not sorry, but I appreciate that buying it when I did/for how much I paid was, objectively, kinda dumb. And I'd do it again! But still dumb.
I bought my own gas station-style windshield scrubber, so I can get after anything that poses a real problem, but honestly I don't hate a gentle sprinkling of mud and dirt, as long as I (and the cameras) can see. I'll run it through the local touchless when it's heinous. Otherwise, y'know...
Thought it was just me. My first FSD, and it had been going well, but since the update it tried to take a 90 degree corner at 80 (in what it thought was a 55, but was actually a 65); got confused halfway through, and bailed on me. An inattentive driver would've been sent into a ditch, although...
Depending on the parking I get at the commissary, I either put everything in the vault under the bed or in the frunk under the cargo net. Mostly I prefer the latter. It would technically be better to get a fitted cooler up there, but I haven't done that yet.
