In No VA and placed my FS order 3/10 but no VIN. Was contacted 5/9 about Powershare from a company in Berkeley Springs WV 120 miles away. They said they were working on my estimate but tried to sell me solar. I’ve read you have no choice on what company installs the PowerShare. Is that true?
I think these things will sell out as soon as they go on sale and be hard to get for a while. Only a outrageous cost will keep me from buying. Like many others, I really wanted the integrated light bar behind the windshield included with the truck.
I sure hope you don't have to repeat the...
Funny how the wild battery pack speculation started with the X (tweet) post from Munro Live before the actual video was released.
The tag line should be "Sandy Munro confirms Cybertruck battery crush zone"
Sandy does indicate in the video that the empty space is about 33mm high. The dimensions...
Perhaps they are being more cautious with the rollout timeline due to the continued scrutiny of FSD? Engineering aspects are certainly the main contributor, but the external scrutiny is contributing to the timeline. How much - no idea.
Curious about the windshield cracking after hitting the ditch. Not worried, but I wonder about how big of a ditch they hit as they did stop to inspect the rest of the truck for damage.
Are there any actual technical details/specs on the Powershare equipment and installation requirements.? Google searches just provide dozens articles that essentially just say this -"Powershare lets you power your home with your vehicle, but currently only the Cybertruck is capable."
You can also use a AR Measuring Tape app on iOS or Android. You should be able to measure the entire truck quickly without touching it. Perhaps not as accurate.
I'm just hoping we get a release event soon, so we can all stop speculating on specs and features.
I would expect at least two Cybertruck wheel/tire options. My guess is that a street tire will be standard; perhaps to get good EPA ratings, and an off-road oriented option package. Even better would be a standard street wheel/tire, an upgraded street wheel/tire, and two off-road tire options...
With all these sightings why has nobody measured one? Obviously, a tape measure is somewhat conspicuous, but you can quickly use one of those AR measuring apps built into phones.
