Can it be a bug if it's intentional? I say yes, because it bugs me! I'm talking about the FSD disengage survey that appears every time you disengage and then persists forever. It is so anti-zen, it's baffling. a 30-second timeout seems reasonable. I like participating when it makes sense. Most...
It was just a nice little surprise I didn't expect. I usually drive forward manually out of my driveway, but there was someone parked in it so I was backing out, accidentally engaged FSD, and it just continued backing me out, put on the turn signal, backed out and turned onto the street.
I never knew you could swipe the temperature display as the primary gesture. I've always tapped an arrow, then swiped the slider that pops up. This is much nicer! ❤️
Hi y'all, it's my 2 year anniversary of having the cybertruck this Month, and I'm 1000 miles away from my warranty expiring.
Any advice on what I should get fixed while still under warranty? The inverter was fixed long ago.
My only nag now is an inconsistent noise, like a rattle coming...
It's freezing out, I hop in the Cybertruck, and the yoke heats up like a cozy spaceship... except the two little scroll wheels. Those bad boys stay ice-cold.
So I'm cruising with warm palms, but my thumbs are parked on literal frozen hockey pucks. The contrast hits so hard my brain screams...
Just sayin, the rainbow rave in the holiday update is awesooooome. Kudos to the FUN team for that one. I got this great idea for another feature that would feel invisible on the UI. Simply let us select a 2nd color! The 2nd color becomes a "background color". The first color would...
Installed a second wall charger and the app gave me a 2 car garage now, nice! Anyone know how to swap the virtual charger locations in the virtual garage?
Hi everyone,
I'm heading into my second snow season with the CT and have found that snow frequently blocks the headlights.
Besides standard options like not driving in night snow, frequent pull-overs or installing a complex heating system, has anyone found a novel way to prevent this snow...
One thing that I love about CT is how minimal the driving experience is. Eliminating max speed fits that vibe. You now have one less thing you need to do, or think about. Selecting profile via scroll wheel is also very zen. Max speed wasnt a feature, it was the old way. yall just need to...
It successfully backed out of my garage, and pulled out of the driveway! This was awesome, there's only 2-3" clearance on the mirrors, and a complex turn to avoid a curb still cutting hard enough to avoid a basketball pole. It completed the maneuver just like me with only one stop!
It then...
I've read a lot of you don't get them. My FSD dry wipe comes after almost every engagement, within a minute or so. I have gotten in the habit of using the mic to say "wipers off" each and every time after engaging FSD. I hope the engineers take note, as I'm sure they want to encourage a...
Hi yall, idk if it's always been this way, but I found a dangerous bug in the UI. When you are viewing the Controls Menu, then press the Camera button on the steering wheel, the camera does not appear, only the little white arrows that indicate the forward/reverse view appears, over top of the...
Range Liberation: Life Beyond the Battery Bar
Remember range anxiety? Yeah, that's old news.
Range Liberation is what happens when your EV just works. You plug it in at night, like your phone, and by morning, it’s fully charged and raring to go. It’s a freedom that gas cars never gave us—no...
FSD is awesome, and I've gotten all my strikeouts by accidentally manually accelerating over 85 mph. Strikeouts prevent you from using FSD for the rest of your drive, so I wanted a way to prevent this from happening. My solution is (Safety Settings) to set the speed limit to 85mph max...
We definitely need better visibility and safe use of the phone with/without FSD. Being able to charge without plugging in is also a must. (Plugging in my phone feels ancient, like I'm using a fax machine or quill pen). Here's a pic of how I modded Teslas wireless desk charger for the CT. This...
Hi, I rigged these solutions but someone could really take these ideas to the next level. Please do!
1. Steer with your knee again: I mounted a steering wheel knob to the lower left side of the squircle, I can drive with my knee now, but it's not perfect. Somethong that attaches and rounds out...
The track thumbnail is usually wrong, it's displaying the thumbnail from the previously played song. I've had CT since March, and this started happening a couple months ago. I thought it would be fixed in an update, but I haven't seen anything change, and haven't seen anyone talking about it...
