    Canada Non-FS Orders

This happened as I expected and timed it out. Had Tesla announced this a week earlier, there would certainly be a Foundation Cybertruck in my driveway right now. However, I had enough of the political drama and selected the Rivian R1S as my next vehicle. I withstood the stigma of driving three...

    Canada Non-FS Orders

I just put a two week hold on my delivery (originally scheduled for March 6). So, my VIN is released to someone else in the Toronto area. Tesla is offering free supercharging to the USA market on remaining Foundation models and I’m hoping that trickles to Canada. I am also pondering a Rivian...

Overland Roof Rack System & Integrated Light Bar [CyberGear]

It was always my understanding that only the Foundation or Cyberbeast editions would get 4 roof mount points. So, I was actually surprised it was available on the basic model at all. That leads to a question that @Cybergear can hopefully answer. Does your rack mount to a basic all-wheel-drive...

Overland Roof Rack System & Integrated Light Bar [CyberGear]

My truck should be delivered next week and I’m starting to look at roof racks. I found this product’s website just this morning and was happy to see an alternative to Mars’ version and half the price. However, I personally think this looks a lot worse than Mars’. It’s probably just as good...

    Canada Non-FS Orders

There are only three options when configuring the Cybertruck. - Two types of wheels - Two interior colours - FSD buyout, or as an optional subscription Would the white interior really have kicked it up a notch for you?

Will a window breaker tool work on a Cybertruck?

In case of a bad accident, I keep an emergency tool near my driver’s seat that cuts seat belts and breaks windows. Are Cybertruck windows normal, or are they treated to make them more durable? Should a basic window breaker tool still work?

Pre-purchase question about reliability : Foundation vs 'Regular'

I searched the archive of Tesla news. Free supercharging was added to USA Cybertrucks on December 27th (a mere 4-days before end of sales quarter). Similar timing in Canada for this quarter would mean an announcement on March 27th. That would be well past the deadline to take delivery of my...

Pre-purchase question about reliability : Foundation vs 'Regular'

Could you elaborate on the "production change" that happened in December? I tried a Google search and didn't get any useful info.

    Canada Non-FS Orders

Part of why I am changing cars is insurance rates. After 4 years of reasonable rates for my 2019 Model X, I got a 20% and another 20% increase over the last two years. The Cybertruck would be $1,300 less per year.

Pre-purchase question about reliability : Foundation vs 'Regular'

Exact same situation here. I have had free supercharging since 2014 in three vehicles. I thought Supercharging was dead and gone. So, I am surprised it made a comeback in US Cybertrucks (briefly), and then Model S and Model X in general (although that's with an $8,000 CAD price increase). I...

    Canada Non-FS Orders

I ordered on Feb 4. I just got delivery notification. The delivery appointment options were March 6 or 8.

Pre-purchase question about reliability : Foundation vs 'Regular'

That is my strategy, but I may rule out a Foundation (2024) completely if it is less reliable than a 2025 non-Foundation.

Pre-purchase question about reliability : Foundation vs 'Regular'

Orders for the 'normal' all wheel drive version of Cybertruck started in Canada about 2 weeks ago. At the same time, Tesla dropped the price for Foundation models to clear them out. For example, a Foundation edition is about $3,000 less than a 'normal' version if you add all the same...
