I understand your issue with a 3 hour drive to an SC. Too bad Mobile Service couldnāt handle your service requirements without the hassle of driving 3 hours.
Iāve had my CT for almost 2 years and 35k miles. I canāt imagine owning another vehicle. I use the bed all the time and the FSD is now a...
I too had FSD left turn issues after the āGrokā software install. I had two incidences, at different locations, both occurring on secondary roads near the house that I drive almost daily. When turning left (from a median divided road to a four lane double yellow stripe divided road), the CT...
Iām in San Antonio and have 27k+ miles worth of CT experience. The steer-by-wire is phenomenal and driving was easy to adapt to. It drives and turns like a sedan. Use the front camera to help you get used to pulling into a parking spot. The overhead view helps as well.
Backing up into a parking...
I traded in my X after 4 years and 102k miles and can say, after over a year and 22k of driving the CT, it is the best vehicle Iāve ever driven (Iāve had trucks, Range Rovers, BMWs, Ford, Volvo and every vehicle Toyota makes). The CT does all the truck (and off road Jeep) stuff I need (I donāt...
Sorry to hear about your troubles in California. I had the opposite experience in San Antonio. I took Cybertruck delivery in Feb 2024 and Model 3 delivery in December 2024. Both were fantastic experiences. The coffee bar, sodas and water flowed freely. Sales and Service has always been more than...
People have added their 2 cents so Iāll contribute my 1 cent.
- Plug your CT in every night (if you have PowerShare, it powers your house in the unlikely event you have a temporary power outage overnight). This means you donāt wait until 20% or less before you start charging.
- Charge up to...
As another datapoint, I was at the northwest Tesla service center Saturday where there were 80+ (I counted) CyberTrucks parked side by side in a field. I saw approximately a dozen+ marked Foundation Series. Demand must be down. BTW, I love my Foundation Series CT and I'm a little surprised they...
Add me to the list.
I too just got the turtle emoji on the screen and an alert that my rear motor has been disabled. Vin 01356 with 10.7k miles. Said ok to drive with speed limited to 65 mph. Scheduled a Sept 27th SC date.
Yep, I too just got the turtle emoji on the screen and an alert that my rear motor has been disabled. Vin 01356 with 10.7k miles. Said ok to drive with speed limited to 65 mph. Scheduled a Sept 27th SC date.
As an update, after watching an Engineering Explained segment on charging on YouTube, I now charge to 60% at the house for my daily drives. I charge to 95% at the house when traveling more than 250 miles. i highly recommend watching that Youtube video.
Engineering Explained YouTube channel summarized Jeff Dahn's work / results down to 13 minutes on charging limits and battery degradation. I now set my charge to 60% for daily driving but charge to 95% for trips over 250 miles.
Youāre asking if anyone wants to discuss their CT likes and dislikes so you can print the dislikes and trash an excellent vehicle? Why not just print the propaganda and cut out the middle man?
Print what you want (you drove it) and stop the attempt to show you are unbiased.
I think you made the right decision to purchase the CT now. I had similar thoughts about delaying delivery due to: I didn't want FSD (my plan was to rent it), I already have a wall connector, didn't want to pay for the PowerShare install, didn't want white interior AND didn't want to part with...
Yes. Drew Bagloino posted that Tesla will soon (this quarter) be sending out an update to fix a few charging bugs and to improve the DC fast charging curve. What do I win?
