    Yes I understand. I'm describing what is happening, it's a rapid rumble like a buckling sound that I can feel but that doesn't mean it's from the steering system.

    Turning at slow speed sharply can cause this rapid thumping, sounds like a buckling sound along with vibrations in the steering. It stops after half a second and otherwise I don't notice problems. Has anyone seen an explanation?
