I agree, in most cases there is very little point in keeping this setting on. Both I and my wife usually keep it disabled as on hot days with the car parked outside it can eat quite a bit of battery, which looks like a complete waste of energy.

It keeps the cabin temperature under 100F by turning on the AC when it exceeds that temperature. Prior to the release of this feature, my CT's interior would regularly get over 120F when parked outside. Now I don't see it go over 100F. But yes, it does consume battery.

Mine also came sh*t looking, but as far as I know they are all like that and they clean them at the delivery center. In my case I asked to get it sooner rather than later and it wasn't cleaned. No biggie though, a quick detail and it's like new!

No problems here either, since they introduced overheat protection ??
