Side cameras cannot judge if a lane is clear with a trailer attached. You run the risk of butting a vehicle in the adjacent lane if you drive with a trailer in FSD. Recently did a trip from Michigan to Florida pulling a camper. Traffic aware cruise works great with a trailer.
Just got back from a 3-week trip to Florida from Michigan. Found the sweet spot for charging is 10-65%. If you have trailer brakes they are disabled if you come out of trailer mode. We averaged about $0.29 per mile pulling a 21ft SylvanSport VAST which is not very aerodynamic. As we got...
I had a similar issue on my 2025. The sensor in the charge port failed. Didn’t work at superchargers either. SC replaced the port under warranty and no issues since.
I see the speed signs on the display but FSD doesnt recognize the change. Lost happened yesterday, actual speed limit 55 but CT thought it was 40 for about 20+ miles. Very frustrating driving in the thumb of Michigan.
I live in rural Michigan. Many of the paved roads are 55 mph for speed limit but not marked with signs. The system defaults to 25 mph which requires me to use traffic aware cruise. I have had the same issue identified before with shudders at traffic lights and 4 way stops. Occasionally the...
I had the same issue and found the connection of L1 not torqued correctly. Appears to be working fine now. Definitely an issue with the gen 3 charger not the truck.
I use an USB cord connected from the center console and the adapter from Valentine1. The thin phone cord goes nicely from inside the console to the radar detector. My V1 Gen 2 is mounted on top of my screen with a bracket i purchased from ETSY.
Just checked and there is indeed a max $1000 deductible. Since I live in Michigan, no fault, I have to pay regardless of fault unless I choose broadened collision. With the amount of deer running into the road, really don’t want my comprehensive deductible very high either.
I second crispark’s comments. Had ours for about 4 weeks. In my opinion much better ride and tech than my 2020 Model X and 2018 Model 3. Compared to conventional trucks from Ford, Ram, and GM. Major difference is that short spouse with mobility issues is able to get into the vehicle without...
No issues in farm country in Michigan. I would say about 95% positive with 5% jealous, snide comments. Even the farmers with the larger trucks give me positive comments. Kids are especially interested in the rare cybertruck sighting. I got more fingers in my Model 3 than I do with the...
We have two folding Hey Bike Ranger + that fit in the bed with roll top closed when folded up. I get them in the bed before folding them up. They are very heavy and I am looking for a ramp that would allow one older person to get them in the bed without heavy lifting.
I have also had the issue several times where the truck would pull into the oncoming traffic lane. Most times it has worked flawlessly. Mine was hugging the center line also. Clearing the camera calibration didn't help. After a few miles of putting pressure on the steering squirkle, it moved...
