I find it interesting that this issue happened so early in the vehicles life that they didn't come across this when testing. I hope this gets resolved soon as I kind of want to replace my Lightning with a CT soon-ish

I'm sure it's been said already, but hire a damn lawyer. To be on that side of the road on a hill like that, I'd be utilizing everything within the courts as I could. Hopefully other charges will follow.

One thing to remember, HOA's don't usually like dealing with lawsuits. If you can find something that allows you to file a lawsuit, might be the route to take. I was once in one in FL and saw this happen (not EV related) and it helped make changes for the good.
