  1. Auto AC getting stuck on defog vents

I have the same thing for a few days. Very annoying. I think I updated the software and did a manual reset. I haven't had it happen since.
  2. Matte vs Gloss. What would you choose?

This. My matte gets dirty, looks dirty and stays dirty. Matte looks good when it's clean. Gloss is too shiny.
  3. The dreaded Red screen 😡

When was yours made? I'm wondering if there is a date range that is more likely to be affected.
  4. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

From personal experience. You can jump out using either a 48v or 12v power source. Whether it's a battery or power supply like I had. The 12v converter is for convenience since that's what everyone has to jump with.
  5. Dead truck.

Mine did something like that over one of the updates. The 48v wasn't recharging while it was plugged into wall power to charge. Truck died plugged into the wall. I jumped mine the same way but with a strong 12V power supply. So you don't need a 48v jumper, but it's nice. The truck has a built...
  6. Truck totally unresponsive

I had something happen to me that was almost exactly this. I got an app notification during the night that the truck stopped charging. Went out to check on it and it was totally black. No doors, no screen, no led, nothing. I needed my truck the following morning so I got to it. I spent 45...
  7. Share and Win a Gift Card! What’s the most annoying part of using your truck bed (day to day)?

Tie downs on top of the rails. When the bed is completely full the rails are covered and I can't get to them to attach a strap. Hauling lumber had actually been pretty easy for me. I've had anywhere from 10 studs in the back to 20 sheets of 5/8 osb. The bed cover will hold a small load well...
  8. Should I get Tesla winter package or just swap tires for winter?

I will get another set of rims when I'm ready for that. Great range rims and tires with the 3 peaks for winter. Cool looking rims with good looking highway tires for the summer. If you have two sets of rims, it's easier and faster to swap them over. You can do it yourself or have a local shop...
  9. Newbie Range Question

Set a home location and you can choose to have sentry mode turn off at home. Fwiw, my lifetime is 336 wh/mi driving 100 miles up and down a canyon everyday. Normal acceleration, 69 in a 65mph, 73 in a 70mph. Awd stock tires. I like me some of that yummy efficiency.
  10. Charger firmware "bricked" the CT

Mine bricked itself while charging over night one time. Took forever to "jump" it to get it to charge again. Updated the truck the following morning and it hasn't happened since.
  11. Is this worth getting service for?

Try getting a screw driver up behind the gasket to fold it back down. I had two spots like that when I got mine. I think that's how I fixed them. On accident too.
  12. After 2 months, my biggest surprise has been efficiency... dual-motor with core wheels

I am coming from a 2018 3 as well and I'm noticing the same things. I was prepared for inflated advertised efficiency numbets on the ct. I've been pleasantly surprised. Over 3k miles, 25% @ 70mph the rest 50mph or less and I'm getting 345w/m average. Summer bumped it up to 355 average but still...
  13. Please tell me I’m not the only one to discover this…

If it's anything like my 3 was, if the glass is all the way down it can rattle in the door when you close it. I got in the habit of rolling my windows up a tiny bit before I closed the doors on my 3. Cyber does it automatically. Annoying when trying to wrap it though.
  14. Ladder rack mileage

I've had ladder tracks on nearly every truck I've owned. I'm planning on getting one for cybee. Adding them has had a 10-15%ish hit to daily mpg on all my other trucks. That's with nothing on them too. Adding ladders will hit it more. For those of you that have ladder racks, how do they affect...
  15. Panel Gap at Hood + Wind Noise — Anyone Else Experiencing This?

Is it around the door seals? Where the glass in the door meets the weatherstripping? Had this on mine. I thought it was a bad or leaking cantrail seal. Turns out the door seal was overlapped wrong preventing it from contacting the glass. Took seconds to fix once I noticed.
