Wrong speed is much worse for me since V14. I wonder if Tesla diverted compute from reading signs to other FSD functions and now relies on map data more ?
I used to get it very occasionally and cleaning the outside always worked. Recently I had to get a front tire replaced and I noticed they added that internal cleaning job, and now I get the warning every day when the sun is at an angle! And it often cicks me out of FSD which I never saw before.
Ok, I'll dig out my heat gun, or may be quicker to order yours on Amazon and give it a try, probably not worth trying to get Tesla to fix it ! -Thanks!
Thanks for sharing - I was thinking of using a couple of black screws (trying to avoid any wires/electronics!). Every time we put the sunshade you have to yank the strong magnets off - so it takes a bit of force - I fear your method is going to fail after a while... But if all Tesla does is use...
I find that vague top speed quite annoying too. I want to be able to follow cars in the fast lane up to 85 without harassing them to let me by. The old FSD did that just fine, the new one cannot and constantly have to do it manually.
What happens when you have a PG&E loss of power during the day - doesn't powershare kick in automatically - how about having to switch off solar when starting?
It started after I repeatedly yanked the sun visors off/on when I put my sunshade. Feels like a plastic tab may have broken. Seems like a problem waiting to happen.
Any one else fixed this?
Same happened to me in a Vancouver underground garage using autopark. It scratched into a large concrete post on the same rearend as OP showed. Its like it was unaware that the rear wheels turn too! Luckily it just hit with the steel panel and somehow didn't hit the plastic bumper-I am sure that...
Thanks so much for the pictures - I have the same issue - clearly see the holes in the aluminum bar on top. As a temp fix I can move the cover up by 1/2" or so so that the gap on top is closed by the slat - and it doesn't seem to create a noticeable gap at the tailgate end -it also doesn't...
Solved the issue - thanks guys for the pointer:
When I first got the CT I stopped "somewhere" to adjust the mirrors and I must have accidentally Saved that location as a Fold location - don't understand why. Anyhow subsequently since its on my way home it would always fold and unfold as I wiz by...
This happens when I'm going 30MPh on a public road - nothing to do with a saved location.
I may disengage FSD when it happens and leave a voice response in case that gets to Tesla.
There is one spot near my house where both side mirrors fold in and back out immediately. The message says "based on location". It happens at the same location driving both ways. It is a very quiet road on a golf course. That is the only place where that happens. It happens both on FSD and on...
Just got 3 of the 20Gal Huskys in my local HD - on sale for $29.98. Was very disappointed at the sturdiness - the HD site says they can take a 500lb load - I am 220lbs and really had to trust the 500lb number as I very gently sat on it - it felt like it would collapse or crack... but it didn't...
