  1. Fake Cybertruck story

I agree about the inside latch but what I'm also reading elsewhere is that he was passed out and they couldn't get to him from the outside (no manual from the exterior)... But I mean how hard is it to break the glass?? It's no different than when there's an accident and the door is jammed shut.
  2. UPDATED: 360 miles on OD front windshield already cracked 🤦‍♂️

550 miles in and already chipped... I am not sure when that happened but was surprised to see it. I don't recall hearing a loud sound that you'd generally hear with an impact like that.
  3. Foundation Series - Total Production Numbers?

I won't be able to see/pick it up until tomorrow, I'll report back once I have it
  4. Foundation Series - Total Production Numbers?

I'm picking one up this week and have 39xxx
  5. Foundation Series finally over?

I'm in STL and strongly considering this demo vehicle. I do want the regular one and will be buying the FSD. It would be about $8k more going with the foundation and free supercharging... I have the order on hold when I learned about the IRS credit but never know when and if I will be able to...
  6. 2025 Cybertruck now listed as eligible for $7500 federal tax credit

I'm sure they'll eventually move, although demand may be soft (not stagnant), not everyone is eligible for the $7500 and many buyers likely exceed those income levels and would not care about "qualifying" vehicles.
  7. 2025 Cybertruck now listed as eligible for $7500 federal tax credit

What I wish Tesla would do would be the ship those trucks that don't qualify to countries in which the components /material is irrelevant and have no such thing as IRS EV credits.
  8. 2025 Cybertruck now listed as eligible for $7500 federal tax credit

Some may have gotten lucky with it, looks like this one person did: https://www.torquenews.com/11826/tesla-officially-starts-delivering-2025-cybertruck-new-owners-say-its-much-quieter-smoother Anyways, I was supposed to pick up a discounted demo foundation with free supercharging tomorrow but...
  9. Take Delivery Now or wait for 2025 Model + Tax Credit?

That was very helpful, thank you. Every state is certainly different the way they calculate taxes. In Missouri they look at the Blue Book value of your car in fall of that calendar year, then apply a fixed tax rate on that. I love how you called it Taxachusetts, I feel the same about my state...
  10. Take Delivery Now or wait for 2025 Model + Tax Credit?

How do you figure a $1,500 saving? Are you factoring any personal property? In Missouri if I bought it in 2024 I would have to pay personal property tax on it in 2025 since I owned it Jan 1, which could be close to $3-4k... this is separate then sales tax or excise tax. From what I know about...
