Well got the Truck back.
Seems like the driver seat position was not calibrated. The autopilot thought the seat was dangerously close to the yoke and was disconnecting. They did some reboots and some other precautions.
So far so good. I'm gonna go get 14.3.X.X
I dropped off the CB this morning and went for a ride with one of my favorite Techs.
We found the related errors and he will be doing a deep dive. Could be an issue with the Ryzen PC is what he is guessing so far.
The data logs are awesome on the truck.
To be continued.
Juniper Model Y...
I've had a few of these recently.
Mostly right before parking or coming out of park.
I'm in for service tomorrow to see what is going on. When I watch the dash came footage it just stops right before the incidents.
FYI if you use custom you will lose launch mode. I set up my scroll wheel to switch between modes on my CB. FSD is so good I ride around in comfort/chill which is very comfortable and slap on Mad MAX and let the truck drive 90% of the time. But yes... Beast Mode is fun. It is also fun to switch...
I find some of the ICE vehicle's oily residues cause a lot of problems where I live. Salt, oil and just a teeny bit of mist is the worst mix. FSD tries like a champ but yeah I've had two failures I assume from that stuff slowly building up.
I have considered putting a hard soap residue next to...
I was thinking about the situations where road salt etc isn't fully getting cleared by the wiper and FSD is not happy. Maybe some formulas are better than others? NJ is a great place to test this I imagine.
I very occasionally get this when I do short trips in town. Seems like v14 ignores some of the issues some times. I assumed it needed to get warmed up a bit or some clown is running GPS jammers just in our neighborhood. Usually goes away in 5 minutes.
With looking into.
I'd like to see it compared directly to the OEM AT in noise and range, especially snow off roading and rain. Finally, also in beast mode for acceleration and lateral grip for those times I'm driving it like a hot hatch. 🔥
Hey man congratulations on the success. You are a true hunter. I'm more a boomstick hiker myself.
I just wanted to add my two cents. The four wheel steering definitely helped me get out of sticky mountain side situations where precise 3 point or more turns have been required to get out of a...
First off, Congrats.
I'm curious if this is one of the VINs I looked at before I got mine in BC a few months back.
My buying process was a lot of back and forth between different VINs and the sales folks were super patient with me as I couldn't make up my mind. My CT had ugly cantrails, but the...
We have an trusty old Model X from '18.
In two years we would be looking for a possible replacement. It would be nice to have a 3 row that is as capable as the CT to haul all of the family and maybe friends or relatives out for al the adventures.
Lux package for us as well!
Strong buy for our...
