ONLY use citrisurf as recommended by Tesla. BKF is much more acidic. Also you will have to use citrisurf on your truck at least once a year, especially after Winter if you want it to back to a flawless state.
Trying to convince myself to wrap the truck but after spending time looking at every single truck in this thread, I just can't justify ruining the steel aesthetic to make my truck look like a normal painted vehicle.
why do people do 70% on the rear when the windows are already tinted? 20% is the perfect percent for front windows, its a good balance of blacking out your windows and still have optimal visibility.
The steel patinas naturally, all you have to do is wash it, then use citrisurf77 on each panel, let it sit 3 minutes, then wipe it off with water or glass cleaner on the entire truck.
it will come out flawless after this process.
barkeepers is too strong imo. Use citrisurf, let it sit for 3 mins, then loosen the dirt with a blue non scratch pad, then pour hot water to wash off the residue. People use a glass cleaner but hot water is the absolute best to neutralize the citric acid cleaner.
then dry with a microfibre...
Now that Foundation series has ended in Canada, there are no signs of being able to get a lightbar again. I just hope they scale up this installation so it comes faster
Can't wait to get mine installed but I'll wait as long as Tesla needs because chances are they will improve it or make the installation process smoother.
