TL;DR
I really wanted to like the Cybertruck, I love my Model S Plaid. I can also forgive a lot of quality control issues because Tesla’s ecosystem/software stack is just that good. However, my experience during my 6-hour test drive was so bad that I cancelled my order when I got home. This is a...
Ok, one more data point to add to this thread. I just got invited to design my 2nd Cybertruck reservation that was made at the end of December 2023! This means there can't be many Canadians taking up the Foundation Series offer. I'm assuming we're seeing the end of the FS price premium play...
Very cool gear guys! You've nailed it adding some additional usability to the shape of the Cybertruck. I'm hoping you'll be able to ship to Canada once my Cyberbeast arrives!
I'm 6'4" and I found the rear seats to be bolt upright. My head was touching the roof but would definitely hit it while driving over bumps. I don't have this problem in the F150 Lightning or even the 3rd row of our Rivian R1S.
Again, not hating on the truck. Just some data points for people.
Check the video I posted, I've linked it straight to the conversation that is pertinent and I agree with Rich's closing comments - they are balanced.
If you look at the items in the Foundation Series, I'd argue that they won't effect resale value and you'd probably not chose to buy them if you...
Given they are offering Foundation Series in the USA to anyone without a reservation and we have Reservation Numbers here in Canada being serviced at least to orders all the way up until the end of 2021 it's probably just worth holding a quarter.
My guess that they have an end of year push in...
Interesting data point. A friend of mine that ordered at least a year after launch here in Canada just got the invite to configure. That means there can’t be many people taking up the Foundation Series up here.
It’s not exempt unfortunately. Just processed my Canadian Cyberbeast order and got ~13k luxury tax added. No comments on how well the Liberals will be applying this additional tariffs.
I just traded our 2022 Model X LR for a Rivian R1S. Overall the Model X is solid as a vehicle.
My wife misses the size and thinks the R1S is too big.
To be honest we found in the north the falcon wing doors let all of the heat out of the car in the colder months (wind tunnel with both...
Hold on to your hat. I’m just trading my refreshed Model X for an R1S because the falcon wing doors make it sound like someone is making balloon animals in the back when I go over a bump.
Theres a whole thread on it in the Tesla Motors Club forum.
It’s a great product overall but don’t expect...
If you are looking to maximize the range you’ll likely need to get some street tires rather than the knobbly ATs. We’re currently only seeing range tests with low efficiency tires.
Thanks! Got through to the sales advisors using 312-764-5176.
I told them I was planning a trip to see it. They said "we're not planning on removing the vehicle" so guess there isn't just a limited number they are moving around.
What number did you use? The store number just takes me to the default Tesla front door 312-764-5176
I'm trying to organize a trip to see the truck next week (I'll be coming from Toronto) so I want to make sure it'll be there when I arrive in town.
