Lightning is 400 liters?
Then CT probably closer to 200 or 250 max
If the rumors about shrunk CT from original prototype is true, then that's part of the lost volume, along with extra stuff like heatpump, air suspension and big HEPA filters.
Saw all the debate about CT not having Lightning sized frunk.
Would you rather have air suspension, heat pump and HEPA filters or a big frunk? Cuz all those features take up space in what would otherwise be the frunk of a CT.
I have no skin in the game and will not likely to even test drive...
Anodised aluminium would explain why the tonneau cover is a different color from SS. Or maybe it has a rubber liner? Either way, I think the cover should hold up if it's as strong as the prototype which withstood Elon's weight
Assume vertical hailstorm:
From the top view, the only place with SS are the hood, the edges around the glass and the very sloped upper side.
With that in mind, the hood is the most likely place to suffer damage. It is not clear at this moment if Tesla opted for a thinner SS for pedestrian...

How are the castings and structural battery pack not part of the exoskeleton? They are literally load bearing, exposed to the elements and not inside some other structural components.
The real point of argument is that CT would only have a real exoskeleton if the stainless body panels...
Guess what? That doesn't contrast my point at all, as now the competitive pricing has dropped to 70k for 300ish mi truck. My point is that Tesla will price it right at the point where people will buy up the production rate.
What determines buyers' interest? Availability, relatively pricing and...
