It’s not just regen. It also disables the traction control when trying to start, or other times when you actually need the wheels to spin a bit.

I think it was less than $150 total, I ended up spending more due to trial and error, and buying to much 2020 aluminum, but that stuff is awesome, like legos for adults. Will probably build some more cool stuff with the left overs. I updated my post with a parts list.
