Having a shorter bed would be the equivalent of putting 12'ers into my bed and that makes me uncomfortable. Don't stress, it's ok if a 6' bed is better for me. It also allows me to lay 4x8 sheets with the gate down and it's all supported and not hanging off the back. I'm sure plenty of guys do...

Agreed. We bought a Model 3 and the hubcaps lasted about 2 hours. We bought a Model S and they came off just as fast. These I’ll keep on. I agree with your take on them. As long as they are lined up correctly.
