LOL I'm in Texas here and 188F is ... wait, you are saying 118F? Okay well, that Cybertruck factory in Austin can easily do all the testing they want on this issue in their parking lot, but yeah ... Either the silvery thing on the inside or nothing on the inside.
A while back I ran some simple tests on sunscreens placed inside in an office environment. Temperatures were about 110F at the base, rising to 180F at the top. This was because the sunscreen placed vertically has a pretty uniform amount of solar converted to IR for each foot of height, and it...
JUST SAY NO to those sorts of sniveling doubtful thoughts of the weak brained cowards ... and find yourself the shocked owner of the best truck ever produced.
I'm totally envious of the Men in Black (CTs) but mine has gotta stay basic stainless because of the duties it has.
The ONLY solution...
Understood. Although I have the AwD, I have a Beast reservation also, but have not received an invite to order. And there are issues. For example I have a need to haul 14,000 lb, not 11,000. 14k isn't available now, so that fraction of use of the Beast is gone.
Not sure what I'll do, but not...
It wouldn't be hard to make up a practice area, where there were spray lines on the ground say every five feet. Or use a vacant parking lot to practice.
I'm not talking about using such a method to get okay with the cameras only, but to get very, very precise with them...
I understand this point of view, but have reason to differ at least in part. From the 2019 perspective here is what we expected.
Single motor rear-wheel drive with 250 miles of range, 7,500-pound towing capacity, and 0–60 mph capabilities in under 6.5 seconds, for $39,900
Dual motor all-wheel...
Very true. But the presence of the bend from the accident effectively shows the bending of the HFS.
Maybe I am wrong - the simple test would be to try it. If heat treatment was required to get a uniform flat result, it takes an entirely different type of shop and perhaps becomes impractical...
I'm curious if anyone feels the way I do. I had thought about keeping my Tesla Model 3 after getting the CT, because I like the sporty way the 3 performs. But the CT at least matches it, and genuinely makes you feel like you're driving a little pony car.
I have to comment on this and differ with you. Drilling stainless is easy and will take 10 seconds - once you are doing it correctly. That means a suitable metal cutting bit, a good cutting oil, and the bit turning at the correct speed.
Just putting a bit in a drill and going at it is a fail...
I'm eagerly waiting for the FSD no question BUT....
Absolutely loved learning to drive this truck manually. The ability to tightly turn is incredible. Making a parking spot in a crowded lot is easy. First I was trying to drive it like the F150, but it is a whole new thing.
Maybe if they had...
Just consider -
Once on a time in LA you had to say, "Yeah, movie stars are just people and they go to stores and have to buy groceries too, so don't be surprised if you see some!"
Now? It's CYBERTRUCK ENGINEERS!!!
