I bought the same mirror from Hansshow. The camera is mounted crooked in the triangle housing, the screen glitches out constantly when set to 2k, and you cant remove all the text on the right side of the mirrow. The arm is thin plastic and the mirror wobbles when you touch it, or you go over a...
I haven't had an actual issue with my CT, and for that matter, any other Tesla I've owned. A few months ago was my first ever visit to a service center in 5 years of owning them. It was for the wiper blade recall, and an error message for towing (a connector near the hitch wasn't fully plugged in).
This is true, but it will be a different group next time. I had to worry about rednecks who worked in oil and gas who thought my model 3 was threat to their livelihood, and now mentally ill people who think Elon is a Nazi. Maybe it will be some group that thinks robots are out to destroy all...
Yes, and I'll buy another one if it gets a refresh. No regrets on the FS either. I probably would have optioned it similarly if the FS version didn't exist. I might have skipped on powerhsare, but now that its kicked on a few times I see the value.
I don't understand the fixation on free...
The CT isn't going anywhere. It just wont be a high volume vehicle (relative to the Y and 3). The only reason people thought it might be was based on the reservations numbers, but there's a huge gulf between the $100 reservation fee and actually purchasing the truck. The conversion rate from...
Autosteer/Autopilot was a bridge to FSD. I understand the near term outlook, but meeting an individual quarter doesn't seem to affect long term decision making, at least at Tesla. I could see the options being "lane keep" as a base feature, which is how most manufactures do it, and possibly a...
Pedestrian regs aside, if you've driven in Europe its easy to understand why the CT is not a viable platform there. You rarely see full size pickups on the road period.
I suspect Autopilot/Autosteer will go away completely on all "new" Tesla vehicles at some point in the near future. Autosteer is kind of pointless w/ FSD.
....and can y'all just enjoy your trucks and quit worrying about who got what deal?
I just installed the Hansshow 2.0 rearview mirror, and I have to say, its a major disappointment vs. the first version. Like you said, the arm is about the cheapest, thinnest plastic you could use. The mirror bounces up and down if you go over the smallest bump. I think I can 3d print a better...
