Just looked it up. Our Volvo 0-60 time is 6.1 seconds. So this ought to seem like a good step up. ?
And instant torque would I guess help with the wow factor too.
I’ve read it’s still sports-car quick, so I was hoping that’s the case. We’ve got a Volvo XC-90 ICE vehicle, so I’m sure it’ll seem a lot quicker than that at a minimum, lol.
I’ve got an AWD ordered and am waiting for a VIN (hopefully any day now). My question is for those who own the AWD version. For those coming from a regular vehicle in particular, but for all in general.
Is the acceleration of the AWD CyberTruck for you a “WOW!” factor? I’ve only driven a 2023...
Congrats! How was the SC in the delivery process? We saw one on the mall lot a couple days ago that said manufactured 5/2024 and wondered if it might be yours. (One of 8 or 9 we saw; like you had previously mentioned, many were much lower VIN#s). But we also saw a couple next to the actual SC.
We were there about a week ago and noticed 4 on the lots close to the building. I didn’t know there’s a lot other than that. Looked like one was about ready to deliver.
Interesting that they have that many just sitting there. I wonder what they’re going to do with them?
You must be getting...
Looking at the IRS link for the one that you said (and I thought) would be applicable, it said must be in an eligible low-income census tract. In other words, unless you’re living in a low-income area (or I think a rural area?), you’re not eligible. Bummer.
This is one of the reasons for NOT going with a wrap. I love the fact you have a hard time damaging the steel.
Before anyone says anything, I know there are likewise reasons FOR going with a wrap as well. And according to a poll I setup on here, there’s roughly a 2.5 to 1 ratio of people...
Does anyone know if the chosen location makes a difference, or is speculation only? My location is Duluth, GA (Atlanta metro) but seems like I hear of most delivering to Kennesaw? Anecdotal I know, because I don’t know for sure.
Mostly no votes for now. But if this poll is an indication, there could be upwards of 20% of those waiting for VINS that may delay to get some of the new options. So does that mean those who won’t change their orders will potentially receive their vehicles roughly 20% sooner? I guess a...
It appears so far wrapping is ahead by a little over 2 to 1 ratio. But also enough people voting “unsure” to close the gap if as a group they drastically swings to the unwrap side.
Overall, wrapping is the clear choice for now (amongst those voting in this poll).
