Thoughtful Comparison of Foundation vs. Non-Foundation Cybertruck, plus a hate experience

Your fees DOUBLE the cost of your "E"?? wow!! Hope that never happens here in CA... Right now I think we are paying 25c off peak and 58c peak... I can't imagine the price doubling in 'fees'... Ours are about $22 a month right now (out bill is in the negative though because we have solar), but...

Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

I wish my bosses would give ME 3 days off with pay (and not use my vacation!) just so they could make a tunnel look better... in my case, it was a BRIDGE between 2 sides of our campus that they had to redo... Took 2 weeks and we had to hike down a hill and back up again (bridge is about 150 feet...

    Nem 2.0 solar with powershare

Just adding battery to your system should NOT put you onto NEM 3.0... HOWEVER, the installer needs to make sure to set it up so you CANNOT charge the batteries from the utility company... In other words, your batteries will ONLY be allowed to charge from your solar system. Also, if you add ANY...

How long for official plates to arrive from the DMV?

Ours came in 32 days from pickup of the CT... (Calif.) still haven't made up our mind on our custom plates though...

Is there a useful Sun Visor replacement?

I would love to see a really dark tint bar (or vinyl strip that would work) at the top that also said 'Cybertruck' showing on the outside... If anyone knows of one, please post a link...

Out of Spec: Rivian R1T vs. Cybertruck Highway Range Test! Don't Trust The EPA Rated Difference, Surprising Result

Ahhh yes, wind can affect range of ANY vehicle just like steep hills would as well. No wonder your CT took such a hit. I remember, when I drove big rigs, how a 15-20 mph head wind would SEVERELY reduce mileage.

    Tug-of-War battle: 2025 R1T Tri Max vs. 2024 Cybertruck CyberBeast Tri-Motor (Motortrend)

4 Wheel Steering advantage demonstrated (turning radius - ON vs. OFF)

I think they should make a comparison of the CT against the model y! I feel like the CT turns tighter circles than my Model YLR does... THAT would make a great video! If only I could figure out how to use that cheapy drone I got for my birthday... hehe...

Tragic Cybertruck Accident in SF Bay Area Kills 3, Injures 1

Exactly! The fireman should have used the 'pointy side' of the axe to break it, then make a hole in it and then PULL it out... That is SOP for laminated windows on ANY vehicle... Oh, and here's a page from Tesla specifically for first responders (for the CT)...

Tragic Cybertruck Accident in SF Bay Area Kills 3, Injures 1

Actually, they are laminated on the OUTSIDE only, so your rescue hammer WILL break the glass from the inside...BUT it will still be 'held together' by the lamination on the outside... HOWEVER, that can be pushed out pretty easily after it's broken... You don't need to 'saw' anything... It will...

Tragic Cybertruck Accident in SF Bay Area Kills 3, Injures 1

Apparently the driver was going at a high rate of speed and lost control, hitting several trees and the wall several times which pretty much ripped the truck into pieces... One of the wheels with control arm, etc. was found about 100 feet away (from the report I heard on radio)... Here's...

Tragic Cybertruck Accident in SF Bay Area Kills 3, Injures 1

Well, you can always quit driving/riding in cars! Then you won't get 'trapped' in them and they won't 'flip over' or catch on fire or anything else...

What are you guys buying with your Cybertrucks?

I wouldn't wait on getting the solar started... It can take a while... If you do though, I still suggest getting battery backups on the solar as well... Remember, your CT won't (likely) be hooked up 24/7 and every time you disconnect it you will be without power again! Our solar system is a...

Out of Spec: Rivian R1T vs. Cybertruck Highway Range Test! Don't Trust The EPA Rated Difference, Surprising Result

I can't really say, but a 12-15% difference is a bit much... When we took a trip to Las Vegas (from Southern CA) on the way there we achieved 8% better than the way back due to a REALLY cold (snowing even, with temps as low as 24F). Even then I think it was mostly due to us running the heater...
