Redondo Beach?? Where is that info coming from? I ask because I live in Redondo Beach, but the app says my Tesla location is Marina del Rey. Not sure if that is the same as my delivery location.
Depends what your needs are…… do you need something right now? Then, I agree that Rivian is the better answer. If you don’t need something right now, then the Cybertruck with the range extender pack seems like it will handily beat out the Rivian in range.
This thread is full of people like me who never got an invite but were able to press on the existing Cybertruck picture in the app and order. This is the thread that alerted me to the option...
Except that I was able to order on 12/15 without ever getting an invite by simply pressing on the Cybertruck picture already in my app. I had literally been pressing on it every day, usually multiple times per day, to see if there’s any change since the December 8 round of invites went out. I...
Somewhere in the app should be the place where your Cybertruck reservation shows, maybe under Account? I have no other Teslas, so for me, it was the only thing that appeared.
I reserved within the first 20 minutes of the Cybertruck being on stage, I’m in CA near Tesla in Hawthorne, and I never got an email invite. However, I was able to order during the second wave on December 15th by pressing on the picture of the Cybertruck in the app.
Yeah, just got mine a little while ago. It also properly ID’d that I was someone who would need to pay for installation as opposed to those who got installation included, so it must’ve only been sent to DMs or there’s a second version of the letter for TMs.
Again, matching addresses on online and in the app cannot be the sole reason for being picked, as myself and other have posted ITT. It certainly might be a part of whatever algorithm (or random selection) they are using.
It doesn’t seem to play a part… My CA address is in my account (within 5 miles of Tesla in Hawthorne, ordered within 10 minutes of the reservation system going live, have a reservation number for a dual motor in the top 5900, and still nothing for me. If they cross referenced it, they even know...
The poster you responded to never asked for “all height settings available at all speeds”......he simply wanted a user-adjustable ride height. YOU said no OEM has so far allowed for an at-will user-adjusted ride height in an SUV.
The Audi eTRON, an SUV, allows you to user-select 6 of the 7...
Yeah, that blows.....had I known tri-motors were coming first I would have ordered one instead of a dual. I have low res number (59XX)......any chance I'll be contacted with an offer to upgrade to a tri-motor, or am I now screwed?
Model 3 started with a “soft launch“, too. From the article I just read about today: “He also said that the (CT) production would follow the classic cycle, i.e. a soft start before an acceleration of operations.”
So maybe it can extrapolated from prior models?
