I guess the Cybertruck does kind of sound a bit like that, high-pitched. I'm personally not sure to be honest if it uses straight cut gears though. Would be interesting if someone could ask the Cybertruck engineers if they used straight-cut gears for the Cybertruck.

That sounds pretty reasonable to me why it would make the noise then. The noise does seem to come from the motors to me personally though. Are there any other electric cars that use straight-cut gears?

I honestly wish he showed the entire Ram in the picture and not just the front. Everyone thinks its totaled but that's only what the front shows. The rest of the truck might not be that bad. I also hope everyone in the collision in both cars were safe and had no injuries. Wish he mentioned that.

Yes of course. Also, I find it interesting that the Cyberbeast has one permanent motor at the front and two induction motors at the rear. Most other tri-motor evs don't have more than one induction motor to my knowledge so the Cybertruck might be the tri-motor ev with the most induction motors...

I know the new model s and x use all Permanent Magnet AC motors for the plaid trims as far as I know. The model 3 and y used one AC Induction Motor and one DC Permanent Magnet Motor for the dual motor trims to my knowledge. While it does seem pretty clear to me that the Cybertruck AWD uses one...
