Are the Tmat single fit adapters what enable the flex point so that you can open the smuggler’s bay without the Tmat separating?
Or, rather, do you have your Tmat in 2 separate pieces and it is your mounting plate that you made that is holding the 2 sections of Tmat together?
Thank you, Elewon!
But silver foil tape might look like an accent to the stainless steel. I don’t think it would look heinous.
But my inclination is weighted towards functionality over aesthetics…
I think it is fantastic. I would carefully choose the type of tape. Some duct tape might have glue that will metastasize in AZ heat into an unsightly grunge that could be difficult to remove. Maybe foil tape or high-quality electrical tape?
I have extensively Supercharged while using the AC outlet for running my Starlink and fridge. The software change that allowed this usage was a big deal to me because it meant that I didn’t need to haul my Bluetti battery to keep Starlink and my fridge powered while Supercharging. Starlink...
Mongo is correct.
But AC outlet use was not ALWAYS possible when DC supercharging. There was a software update that enabled it some time ago.
It is true that there is no AC outlet capability whenever the truck is charging off of AC.
Mongo probably knows as much or more about the Cybertruck...
I like the Yeslak rear seat floor protector that I purchased. My dog’s dog fur is much easier to clean with it installed.

Any --literally ANY— truck on the same stretch of road will have a like amount of dust inside, outside, and underneath fender wells on all sides and interior portions.
Fear of a truck having dust is like saying fish fear water. It has zero effect on whether a truck is a work horse or not...
I have it and like it. There is also a battery sprayer available at Costco, the Rinse Kit, that others like forum member Hemiarch have had good experiences with.
My hypothesis is that a pebble or small rock in the track prevented the tonneau from closing and that the dust is just something that accompanied the rock/pebble. The plastic rollers in the tonneau are teflon (PTFE) and will only stop if sufficiently out-of-round or if entirely bound-up or...
Or maybe instead a vacuum would be best to clean the tracks?
I think I’m including my Milwaukee pack out vacuum in my travel gear just for this reason...
I don’t think anything is getting into that track from underneath. Ingress is likely from the track located along the top of the truck bed. Have you sealed your tailgate area where dust is known to enter?
If you have room on your rig for an air tank you could fill it with an onboard air compressor and then could airspray dust and pebbles away.

This would also be potentially useful for a flat tire or for...
“Dry” WD-40 is a dry lubricant for use where regular WD-40 or other liquid-based lubricants would just cause clumping of dust and dirt. It is PTFE-based and lubricates without liquid. Available at Home Depot, Walmart, Amazon, etc…
I agree: do NOT use any oil-based or liquid lubricant on the...
