ya know? We are thinking it "rolls up." Well I was...but what if it doesn't? And it makes more sense that it doesn't. You see it could just slide down and lay over the battery pack. (More like a residential garage door than an industrial roll-up door.) That would be the easiest way to store it...
yeah I sort of think of it as a garage door... BUT you garage door is not waterproof and does not almost lay horizontal... Horizontal tracks can hold leaves twigs...rocks!
That isn't how Tesla works. They hung their hat on the Vehicle costing that much. That PRICE was THE FACTOR at unveiling. The only workaround that I can see them doing is selling the reservation holders of that configuration the lowest configuration level that is produced for the same price...
The article loses credibility when they fail to recognize the rolling tonneau cover of the vault was where Elon stated the solar charging cells would be located. Even in the mock-up the rolling tonneau cover "disappeared."
On a personal note I would LOVE it if the rolling tonneau cover...
Yes.
Why else would China do this.... And Elon be rushing even faster than anyone thought to make the next phase of GigaShanghai?

OH and I still want to win it. Don't think my "Oxymoronic" comment was dissing the "keychain" Because these keychains will be that brief period of time where both car keys and Teslas exist.
OH SNAP! Killawatt brought forward in my brain. and .....
Wait a dang minute....can a thing be oxymoronic?
If it can then a "Tesla Keychain" qualifies. You have a tesla keychain but you can't put a Tesla car key on it.
I am at around 435,000. I only added my reservation to the list when I did because I wanted a reservation date in 2019 on the small chance that Elon gives those that reserved in 2019 a special keychain...or something. But also I can say I reserved my Cyber in 2019.
Dids
I like the easy of it all...especially as the Cyber has an inflator built in.
This kind of add-on would be even better for the Cyber.
Either Telsa/Elon or a third party should seriously knock this out of the park....
Imagine it used like this...
It attaches to the cybertruck at the tailgate...
I will now troll the Yankees.
It is not a wise move to put any industry in the North due to what many of you are trying to paint as a positive...Shitty weather is called "shitty" for a reason.
What was given to Tesla to get them to build in Buffalo, NY must have been waaaay better than we...
If Ford goes bankrupt one of the straws on the Camel's back will be the Cyber. It will influence Ford's numbers, in the pick-up, SUV, and Van sales figures. The Cyber ain't (just) a truck.
well? I guess imaginations aren't as active in everyone.
Now Back to the thread's topic....
I have read that the vehicles being created now (all the "Y"s) have a "non-active" interior camera. One of the uses could be to monitor riders during robotaxi service.
"No I did not take a dump in the...
I'd
I strongly suggest putting the next GF where there isn't a single Auto factory for several hundred miles because once the Big auto companies close Elon can buy quite a few of them for nothing. Strategically placing the next plant with that in mind will reap significant rewards.
