Fairly clearly marked "Tonneau" :( although i wish it was the mid gate. The powered tailgate button seems to be missing though? Guess, not powered confirmed?
what a time to be alive!
bookmarking this one too :P i think this is clear evidence that there will be a pack over 200kwh in size.. And JB's own post on the 4680 pack shows how a 185kw pack would fit (with ~+10-20% room to spare, if you ask me). and that was single layer, nothing stopping them...
I go through hobbies like underwear, which one do you mean? Everything is relative, and everyone is different. I think a 250 KW pack is entirely possible. Only two more weeks left until we know for sure!
there are a lot of companies popping up with innovative solutions for this.
But you should not think "recycle" when it comes to EV batteries.. Better word is "reuse" . My pack's already been replaced TWICE under warranty (once @61kmi, and again @68k). They keep the old one when that happens...
having a truck with less range than a sedan doesn't make a whole lot of sense..
But yep, if you assume that @77KW it will take 55 minutes to fill 29%, that works out to about 260 KWH for 100%. I know from experience, Tesla does not factor in the charging curve when it estimates your time...
I am glad that this might be a thing. Scalpers are the scum of the earth. Anyone that says tesla "failed to price the product properly" should never share their shit opinions on anything ever again.
i agree that is it is more difficult, but i dont think it is impossible.. maybe internal support for the middle layer, or just literally sandwich two separate packs together. Or they could do what the hummer did, and have a battery "shelf" in the back, or what i think the Ram did and have a...
in the long run, definitely.. but i really wanted the top specced truck on release, and to pick up a lower spec one two years later. Might have to switch that plan around, if thats the case.. Might be a better plan in the long run anyway :)
We will see based on pricing! And i will probably...
If i go camping, i might bring a winter wheel+tire with me as a backup in the bed. Should be able to fit everything else i'd need, and can unload the tire and use it for seating or something at the camp. Probably would not want to lug one around everywhere, but still too soon to really tell!
they are almost spot on to what i predicted. although there's not much difference between dual and tri.. i might have been wrong about two different battery pack sizes after all ? still, remains to be seen though.
Very nice, loving the CT popping up everywhere! Must be getting all kinds of telemetry back at HQ.. With how fast Tesla iterates making quiet changes to all of their vehicles already in production, this is good to see :)
Good spot! But looks like greg beat you to it, but i didnt see him post it to these forums.. @greggertruck ? What gives?

Why so secretive with all your X's? But to answer your "question" , you could keep it, refund it, bop it, or sell your account on ebay!
