FWIW, you definitely won't want those tires on your CB for winter snow driving...they're greasy. I had them in ID/WY/UT during March/April storms and it was dicey despite fresh tread... it's definitely not a winter compound. I'll be investing in a set of 3Peak snows for this winter, no question...
Agreed, OP either got a bad batch of rubber with the CB or OP is driving way harder than I am in my AWD CT. My tires look mostly fine after just crossing 15k miles of winter/summer mix of city/highway/off-roading and included towing my 5000lb camper with a full vault for ~1000 miles. I've...
I have 1upUSA racks on both of our cars, super durable and solid. They make a ramp for their heavy duty racks, and looks like their newer Xtreme Duty rack can carry 150lbs per spot. Not cheap, but well made here in the US: https://1up-usa.com/product/v-style-ramp
(Iâm not affiliated, long time...
Awesome build, thanks for sharing! I was just pointing at my wifeâs Rivian compressor nozzle and saying I want that in my CT. Would you mind sharing your parts list, particularly the 48v>24v DC converter, you used?
GPS mapping is nice, but OP is asking for a different toolâŠan elevation profile for his planned route. Iâve wanted this many times while towing my camper, because the consumption is much different than what the Tesla expects and projects and it can be tricky to know how hard you can push ahead...
Yep I wouldâve ordered tactical grey if it was an optionâŠwhite has been a stupid color for our truck and dirty lifestyle. Southwest desert orange sand and Vermont dirt/dust, plus kid ice creams and everything shows up. Also in bright overhead sunlight the white reflects on the windshield...
Yeah same in UtahâŠmore negative reactions from Subaru and Toyota Tacoma millennial drivers than any other cohort. Most of them look like adventure seeking environmentalists, but donât seem to realize Toyota (and thus Subaru), GM, Stellantis are working hardest to stop the EV transition and stay...
I think the A2124 surpassed everything else in the Alto lineup (aerodynamically) with a profile more like a fractal Bowlus and at a fraction of the price.
I do sometimes accelerate hard but mostly Chill Mode. I do tow a 5000lb camper, which surely puts more wear on the rear, but so far only ~500-600 miles with it
Iâd use that spare $2k to install a Span Panel as your main panel, would slide to to shed loads from your phone or even automate the load-shedding through the Span panel
Go out in your Cybertruck and do a full ABS stop from roughly the speed you see in the video, youâll find that youâre incorrect. Optimal ABS and traction control allows a tiny percentage of slip, which is how the computer determines where is the limit of grip . If it didnât find the limit of...
Lightship and Pebble Flow are both doing this, but adding an EV drivetrain to the trailer so it eliminates the need to connect the trailer battery to the CT battery. The trailer will propel/regen itself so the CT effectively isnât pulling the trailer, itâs guiding it. In this way, the hope is...
That video doesnât show âunexpected accelerationâ. He claims the rears locked up but front axle kept accelerating, which the video definitely does not reflect. If his rear axle was locked up with â50â skid marksâ the truck wouldve looped it around that corner (because stability systems wouldnât...
