It's water resistant. It has electronic locks on the tonneau and the tailgate.
But like anything, it's only as secure as the amount of effort something is willing to put into breaking in.
Didn't we also confirm no actual customers have taken delivery? Just those attached to Tesla in some way?
It's definitely an early adopter release. Foundation = version zero.
I'll still get a tri-motor with full confidence Tesla will release the update soon enough if not before actual...
Seriously ... NACS is the new standard, by the time the CyberTruck is out in volume most other networks will have added NACS support ... it's really only an issue for early adopters ...
As I understand it, torque vectoring while off roading is a software differential (in the absence of a mechanical differential) that can instantly shift power to the correct wheel. The tri-motor doesn't have a differential in the rear, each motor has a dedicated half-shaft.
Your data only proves they offered you 40% fair market value. However, your statement indicated they offer everybody roughly 40% fair market value, which just isn't true.
Where's your data that proves everybody gets roughly 40% fair market value? I haven't. I've been +/- 10% over 6 trades...
Post number 10 where you said "Tesla offers roughly 40% of fair market value."
I guess now we're going to debate what "roughly" means    ... I didn't have sexual relations with that woman!
No, just no.
Well, guess I can't say that about your experience, but in mine it's not the case.
Still, 1 fair market value offer disproves your claim that "All Tesla trade offers are 40% below fair market value".
Still lawyered.
Edit: In case it's not obvious, I'm not a lawyer, I just...
You can't troll someone who's trolling. I'm responding to your sensational feelings != facts claim that all Tesla trade offers are 40% below market.
Regardless of your data points, it simply isn't true that "All Tesla trade offers are 40% below market".
The facts aside that most of them are...
Sorry, still not true. You can't claim that *ALL* Tesla trade offers are 40% below market based on just 1 data point. I have 6 and they were all fair market value +/- 10%.
It's not facts, though, if your last data point was 2017.
I've traded 6. The last was a few weeks ago, we got above market for my wife's early (#436) Model Y for her new Y. It was surprisingly high.
I'm not denying they can get below market a bit but to claim it's 40% just isn't true.
Agreed. I don't think any truck owners have one yet. I'll be comparing it to my Raptor, which is more of a sport truck, and my Plaid. I'm replacing both with the CyberTruck.
Right now, I think the CyberTruck is too expensive to abuse off road so you won't see many doing it. Perhaps in 3 years...
