I installed this light over the weekend in my CT, and I am (mostly) happy with it as well. Super easy install, and it is very bright, which is great! The only thing that I wish could be better is that it would come on and stay on anytime the frunk is opened ... the headlights have to be on...

It will think it is pulling a trailer, but you can disable it every time you drive... ya, not perfect, but it is just two taps on the screen, so not terrible (IMHO)

I was wondering if it was adhesive, thanks. I saw *some* sticky residue, but not a lot so wasn't sure. But it also seems if you have the frunk go as high as it can, that the frunk arm will hit the seal (and over time it will then dislodge)... at least on my truck...

ok - so the bottom seal came off somehow when I was working on the frunk .. and I can't figure out how it goes back on correctly? there isn't much of a groove in the rubber seal to slide it on the plastic ... and it is different than the other long seal over the rest of the frunk ... anybody...

Gotta be honest - that looks like a very tight fit to me!! I took 2 pics as well, open and closed. I can fit my keycard through to press the button, but my fingers just won't fit. Not sure if my lid goes down just slightly more than yours? My light is installed properly and is snapped in well...
