Wow this is amazing. It’s how it all started for me.
This one is about 23 years old now, Model 3906 Dual motor, steer by wire, 4x4, 4way diff, 2speed
You may want to arrive with a good amount already charged If you haven't tried this setup. 110-120V can a long time to charge in general and that is without an extension and cold weather added in.
I don't actually know how it is programmed but:
The percentage calc is probably based on variables like total rated capacity, how many Ah have gone in, how many Ah have been drawn, and the battery voltage, summed up as SOC%. It should be fairly accurate. A full charge drain cycle once in a...
Yes it is probably normal. It will jump up closer to 80% at normal temps without doing anything.
Set it higher than 80 if it makes you sleep well.
There seems to always be a certain percentage that is hidden maybe 5-10%. For all sorts of reasons we can go on and on about.
Started at 315miles (508Km) at 100%
About 9k miles over 1 year of driving and it still works out to 315miles (508Km) at 100%
I only charged to 100 a couple of times.
I had a similar issue caused by having too many saved locations with different suspension heights all close together. It drained the tank and by the time I park in the garage it would run the compressor for quite a while. Once the compressor also overheated. I deleted all the saved locations and...
Out of Spec detailing has a good video using adams brilliant glaze, which I tried and it works. I also use rainx X-treme Clean on my old car and it seems to work about the same. Both super clean.
I guess because it’s counted as a commercial vehicle just over the 3000-10000kg fee range at 3024kg for the AWD. So there is a sticker but only on the front. It goes on your b day month good for 1 year.
We would have to make it under 3000kg to get the free plates. So possibly change the rims...
Just installed it and I think it is much better now. Before I couldn't tell the headlights were doing anything against the garage door. Now I clearly see them and they are brighter than the front DRL.
Received the update. Charged up to 80% that night. It’s sitting unlocked in my garage about a day later and still says 80% somehow. So the expected amount of drain seems to have been possibly reduced.
My wiper also does this I figured it was an auto alignment or a way to ensure the whole edge is all facing the same way.
I suppose the battery voltage had not dropped off enough to allow to charger to start. I think it may also help keep the reading accurate.
Freezing rain the last 2 days.
I had the tires swapped and the non Tesla tire shop put some of the aero covers on offset. Will fix that myself when it thaws out soon.
