They told me yesterday they are expecting the cars to arrive by the end of this week or early next week. They were still on the train to Chicago. I was a 5/1 VIN.

You need specific proof of insurance. I estimated my policy start date to be (2) weeks after I received my VIN. As of right now, I have had an insurance policy for (5) days on a vehicle I do not have yet, lol. All part of the fun.

I personally would wait for a VIN. Once you have it, they should give you a call, and tell you when you should pay by. I’m sure I could have held off a little, but having a delivery delay do to my own doing would have sucked.

Same here. I stopped by on Friday, and they told me the train is still en route to Chicago. Roughly another week out for delivery. Hopefully we get dates this week.

I actually received my VIN before I paid. But once I received it, I was told to make payment to avoid delivery delays and entering the state. It's currently still on the train to Chicago, and then will head on a transport truck here to Michigan.

Yeah, I was paying cash. I wonder if that’s why, since they have no proof that funding is in place.

In Michigan, I was instructed that I had to pay in order to not delay delivery. They said it cannot cross state lines unless it is paid in full. I got my VIN on 05/01, and still awaiting a delivery date. Paid in full.

Nice! I’m in GR as well. Same story. My VIN came in on May 1st and they said today it’s about 6 days out. Can’t wait.

I didn’t receive any text. My app just updated and then they called me. They said it’s heading to Chicago on a train, and once there, will head over to Michigan on a truck. By the time they get it, do the PDI, etc, a couple of weeks for the whole ordeal makes sense.

Michigan is lit today. Just got my VIN exactly 60 days from order (March 1st). They said delivery is about two weeks out. Super excited.
