I think a cloud backup and remote monitoring is a must. Our trucks have a ton of cameras but we still have blind spots, especially in the front half. Can your dash cam be controlled to rotate/zoom? That would be awesome.
An observation with 150 miles in the dark: I had no takeovers, completely on FSD the whole drive. When on roads with no traffic, speed limit 65, FSD stayed at 55 - yes it was dark and wet and a cold 26*. I switched to hurry and then mad max. I gave each about 20 seconds to see if it would go...
Rain is usually not a problem- heavy rain with wind will give me alerts. But I have never had that many.
In the fall, windy and leaves will send a ton of alerts.
Try a local pest removal company, they might have the tools to get in there maybe.
I can recall that smell by looking at your photos, I would hate to be in that CT.
But it does make sense to have Tesla check out for other damage.
Looks like no issues so far from Nebraska roads, and we have some huge ones after winter. I think you heard one story and are taking it way too seriously.
Awesome!
Could you check for us if it gets the advertised 500 tiles of range using your table top. Thanks 😁😁
Also, is it waterproof? What about rusting? And is there a chance of getting splinters - could you do a test with some carrots? 😆
I have the tesla inflator- had to use my credits so only reason got it. It is nice, but not worth the price in my opinion. The best thing is that it starts up automatically once you hook up the pressure valve.
It is also fairly heavy and has no carry handle.
I have had good luck with Lectron, they are higher priced but come with a warranty that they stand behind. With level 2 charging- I would go with name brand vs cheap. Rather not burn my CT nor their house.
Even if you get these- have the tesla mobile with adapters with you as a backup...
