Honestly, bc of the holidays i haven't found time to rewire my new one back up. It still has the black tape on it. Which, is actually required by CA law, but is kinda overlooked like window tints and no license plates.
I used a little diamond compound polish and a dremel on that after I worked on a chip on my Apple watch, ended up perfect! Give that a shot. Amazon has everything you need.

I would wait to see if they actually try to charge you. I typically get "charged" in the app and invoice until I pick up my vehicle, then those "charges" are absorbed by the SC.
