You don't "need' running boards since the Cybertruck's suspension can be lowered when parked to allow for easier in and out if you're short / disabled / elderly. You might want to install rock sliders for off-roading, but running boards are a relic of the past.
True, but living in Austin definitely has a more optimistic outlook for getting it sooner at around the same reservation numbers vs someone living in say CA or NY.
Tesla could roll out delivery by zone. For instance I'm in the 600k, but I live in Austin, there is a chance I could be one of the firsts if Tesla decides to deliver Cybertruck orders by territories, which logistically makes sense.
The toggle on/off tint is actually a really nice feature that I had not thought of. We all enjoy dark tint during the day, but it does get annoying at night at times.
As a Raptor driver, I also try to drive without braking as much as possible. And even so, I would call it Braking De-gen as it still uses an obscene amount of gas even when not on the gas hahaha.
Raptor owner here.
I think most Raptor owners will have no problems switching. A lot have already gone with the Gen 2 V6 engine and most Raptor owners only drive the Raptor as a sports vehicle. Whatever gives me the best performance on and off road is what I wanna drive.
