  1. New Solid State Battery shown at CES - Game Changer??

It is a fantastically unbelievable achievement. But I really do think it is not believable.
  2. Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

I don’t see how that would work, but mine broke for cleaning and was replaced.
  3. Range Extender Class Action Claim

Yes, but I suspect this type of misrepresentation is not actionable under well trod commercial law. Ask AI or pay a lawyer $10,000 for an opinion.
  4. Foundation purchasers that did NOT get lifetime free supercharging and connectivity

I like free stuff. But I’m not holding my breath. Isn’t Tesla bailing on the truck anyhow?
  5. Light Bar Recall for 2024 Foundation Series Cyberbeast (6,197 Units Affected)

I had original install and first recall install; both failed within months. I’m not hopeful for the flimsy metal bracket but eliminating the glue which requires attention to detail in favor of the tape which should require less of the service tech might actually function as desired. Maybe. Tesla...
  6. Fix for loose overhead console assembly (where magnetic sunvisors attach)

I have a much better hack. Tell service your CT states it needs cleaning in front of the windshield cameras…when they take off the cover to clean the window in front of the camera, it _will_ break…and instead of the 15-30 minute service visit you are told to plan for, it will be 4 hours and...
  7. V2G coming to Cybertruck soon

I finally got an RMA for my gateway today (non-power wall) that started burning on first PowerShare test back in October.
  8. Leaving country for 10 days, charging / setting ideas?

Thx! Wonderful trip. IceHotel is amazing and the cold weather isn’t as big a deal as you might think…they outfit you pretty well and all you really need are good thick wool socks (which they also sell). I have been out of the country twice before only to find my CT with 10% ish battery left...
  9. PowerShare backup smoking

I screenshotted this for when they come…as I’m not familiar with all the terms. I can say that the garage uses about 300 watts of power peak with everything turned “off” (there is a refrigerator that periodically turns on and two garage door openers with lights…I have an EV charging electricity...
  10. [Update] FSD v14.2.2.4 Almost Hit a Girl Crossing Street (No it didn’t - Don’t rest your foot on accelerator)

A good lesson for us all. Thanks for sharing, even if painful, it makes us all better. Kudos.
  11. PowerShare backup smoking

That I do not know. But on Wednesday 2/11 the electrician is coming back, apparently they have some troubleshooting time scheduled with Tesla and they want me to be there to use my truck for testing…I don’t think completing the install is the goal…I think it’s diagnostic in nature. I sent the...
  12. Leaving country for 10 days, charging / setting ideas?

Of course it’s fixable. But the fact that it hasn’t been fixed I think speaks more to intent than ability.
  13. Leaving country for 10 days, charging / setting ideas?

Battery was at 76% when we got back to home airport about 6 hrs later. It seems to me that logging in, even once, at least after a software update demand has been issued by Tesla, starts battery drain… But the moral of the story is that it is possible to render a CT usable for routine airport...
  14. Recall bulletin SB-25-90-001 Off Road Lightbar fix - new version with bracket

This is a good example of simple things being impossible IRL.
  15. Leaving country for 10 days, charging / setting ideas?

So I’m on the last leg of my return journey. I stayed logged out the entire trip until now. Left car at 79% and in low power mode. Just logged in and CB was asleep for 2 days. I checked battery and it was at 77%. Of course there is a new software update I must download, so I logged out.
  16. Toll Booth Scam [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Sounds like a local personal scam, not a governmental one. Because who is gonna waste their time complaining to the government about the government?
  17. Moving on from Cybertruck

I totally hear ya. The only luxurious thing about CT is the FSCB price, acceleration, suspension, and FSD. Everything else is shockingly sub-par. The FSCB is my first new vehicle and in many ways is a massive upgrade from my 2008 Kia Sedona minivan (although CT doesn’t hold a candle to the...
  18. Polishing a Cybertruck to a shiny finish

Looking at the beach photos, I can totally see a Tesla FSD vehicle driving right through a polished CT…but then again, maybe not because the reflected image of the Tesla would probably be interpreted as an oncoming car…I’m sure we’ve all seen the lidar vs. Tesla FSD tests with painted barriers...
  19. Slide out Tailgate Ramp. Wish someone made one

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant as a matter of definition, not opinion…if Tesla ever sells the Cybertruck they had a whole broadcast show to reveal, I’ll buy the Cybertruck. This is a different vehicle than what is currently sold under the same name, which can lead to confusion...
