  1. Cybertruck's future past 2026?

True. That said, my three daughters don’t like sitting shoulder to shoulder in the back of the CT…so much so that we take a Honda pilot on longer trips instead. I don’t think Tesla likes back seats in general. They all get really skinny towards the rear, kind of like a boat tail bullet…
  2. Road wind noise improved with easy fix: lower rear windows slightly!

I used that kit and couldn’t tell a difference. And it don’t understand how it even could work, given the lack on contact between the seal and frame.
  3. 30,000 miles on factory tires without rotating

Pick one: low road noise or good off road traction. I don’t believe you can get both…but if it turns out to be possible, do let everyone know!
  4. Cybertruck on FSD saves wildlife!

I supplement my diet by not using FSD in high animal presence areas.
  5. Best experiences with which home chargers?

Be very careful with the backup gateway. Mine started smoking on first test and that was a few months ago. As of now, I have a very dangerous box on my back garage that will let me burn the garage down if I don’t keep the software configured correctly to disable PowerShare and I charge with the...
  6. Slide out Tailgate Ramp. Wish someone made one

If Tesla ever makes the Cybertruck they announced in 2019, which included this feature, I’d buy it in a heart beat. But I think that ship has sailed. Tech isn’t there yet to build a real Cybertruck. But maybe in 20 years.
  7. Tonneau switch defective?

This did trip me up early on. Good to point it out.
  8. Feature Requests (for Tesla)

I’d settle for parts not falling off…Tesla has a fantastic theoretical understanding of glue but in reality it’s been a dangerous disaster.
  9. Tonneau switch defective?

Mine acts the same way. I figured it was dusty desert and Tesla design requiring a dust free environment…kinda like their glue requiring no freeze thaw cycles, perfect use of cabin overheat protection, and absence of direct sunlight.
  10. Polishing a Cybertruck to a shiny finish

Polishing does make a lot of heat
  11. FSD v14.2.2.3 + Update 2025.45.8 released

I find the guessing game keeps me engaged with driving. It’s less annoying than cyber Karen yelling at me every 5 seconds.
  12. panel adhesive separation after freeze-thaw cycles – front driver’s rattles over 50 mph

Oh no…not more Tesla arts and crafts failure…
  13. Anyone knows how to make the squircle go “limp” on purpose?

This is wisdom. You don’t want to know what they have to do with a needle if it lasts too long…
  14. Tax law changes: Cybertruck loan interest deductible?

Tax breaks never apply to working people with high incomes. Just rich people who don’t work or poor people. Working is the worst way to make money.
  15. Polishing a Cybertruck to a shiny finish

They have official Tesla instructions for orbital sanding to factory finish. It ain’t rocket surgery…but then again, neither is polishing. If you’re willing to spend weeks doing it yourself, it could be relaxing and enjoyable to work on.
  16. Cybertruck -- El naturel

You can blue the steel if you want it ratty dark…or polish it or electroplate it… I’ve kept mine naked. I drive in brush frequently, so scratches are part of my routine…I’ve tried oil, silicone, and wax for fingerprint resistance and wax seems to last longer than silicone. But nothing lasts...
  17. Road wind noise improved with easy fix: lower rear windows slightly!

You didn’t get the memo? CT is certified to be operated between 50-80°F in regions without rain, snow, hail, or direct sunlight.
  18. First ever: 6-seat Cybertruck w/ center front jump seat!

That vehicle is a joke. It’s laughably tiny on the inside. Almost a clown car. Will work fine with toddlers and elementary school kids…or 1 adult man in the back row.
  19. FSD going subscription only (one-time purchase no longer available after Feb 14)

Make them pay now, provide beta testing, and then give the customer a chance to save money when the software is ready someday…sounds like a good business model…for Tesla.
