I agree sometimes ignoring the fact that I own a Tesla is a better option, but I don’t think it’s routinely warranted. I like being able to get to home airport at 3 am and have CB drive me home.
Thanks for the experience info. I probably didn’t need to charge upon arrival to airport…I do feel Tesla should suck less and manage power properly for normal uses cases like vacation via airport. Uber is impractical and sort of admits more defeat than I think Tesla warrants on this issue…it’s a...
I believe I have done everything an end user can do to minimize battery loss. I’m as up to date as possible on updates, set updates to standard, signed out of app, overheat and sentry off, low power mode on…oh, and I charged to 80% 3 miles from airport. I parked at 79%, so that should be plenty...
That seems very normal. That’s roughly what I see at home when I don’t plug it…but I’ve had 6% per DAY loss at airport due to inability to comply with software update demand.
No WiFi…I’m on the latest software as of this morning, so hopefully the standard setting will keep Tesla from bricking my truck while I’m gone 🤣…I wish there was a way to disable all communication with Tesla while parked and not connected to WiFi.
I also learned that my gateway charger combo...
I’m taking the Mrs. on an over seas
Anniversary trip and my CB will be parked at the airport for 12 days.
There is a well known battery draining bug if Tesla notifies your car about a software update and you don’t install it (can’t enter sleep mode until you comply with the command to install...
It’s the UK. Subjects of the UK are currently forbidden from owning arms. UK vacillates between banning arms and mandating subjects purchase and maintain arms depending upon the kings needs.
Has anyone tried their home charge extension cord? I could use an extra few feet sometimes depending on which cars I park in which spots… but if it’s gonna destroy my battery or burn the garage down it’s not worth it (obviously)…
Wow…40 dB spread…that’s huge…is it really 1,000-10,000x louder @ roughly 40-80 Hz than at 10-20 Hz? I don’t have an intuitive feel for the sound, but the math is shocking.
Understood. Love the seat. Makes CT far more family friendly. Losing an outlet and a way to charge a phone is a bummer, but the back screen isn’t so much of a loss.
Or 4 small kids with a wife.
this was in fact the design they took preorders on back when there was a cybertruck. The term Cybertruck has taken on a new meaning in the half decade between invention and production though.
I have a FS CB and I tell people if Tesla ever comes out with a...
There is no Tesla model that functions like a minivan or suv or crossover. Tesla doesn’t have a true 7 seat passenger car for non-child humans…my wife wanted a Honda pilot for the roomy 7 seats over the X pseudo-7 seat model. I don’t know why their cars are so small, but my 3 teenage daughters...
I’m not an off-roader, so I don’t quite follow… are you saying there is an angle/velocity combo that render the brakes unable to bring the wheels to a halt? Or that the brakes worked perfectly but just didn’t realize he was skidding downhill? I would think if there is some total brake failure...
I get that the CT isn’t supposed to malfunction and kill people. But what actually happens and what is intended to happen do not have to be the same thing.
