  1. Another out of spec detailing video: heavy stain removal from stainless steel

I didn’t use anything but paper towels and cloth rags. Did great without anything more abrasive, at least for my truck. Cleaned up like polishing tarnished silverware.
  2. Another out of spec detailing video: heavy stain removal from stainless steel

“Passivate” it with Citrisurf 2310. (Basically apply similar to a quick and easy wax job except rinsing and drying instead of buffing). Cleans, brightens, removes stains, and leaves it feeling like a good wax job. And makes a huge difference in the amount of fingerprints and rain spots. Read...
  3. Door jams delivered cleaned / polished?? What product to use?

Also if you use Citrisurf you will likely end up with some white residue on plastic parts. This came off pretty easily with Isopropyl Alcohol.
  4. Door jams delivered cleaned / polished?? What product to use?

No. I did one side at a time. You could easily apply it to the whole truck, wait a few minutes and then start the rinsing, drying and repeating. It was partially in the sun when I was doing it so some areas were drying pretty fast and the instructions say to keep it moist so I broke it up into 4...
  5. Door jams delivered cleaned / polished?? What product to use?

I didn’t scrub it with anything abrasive, just paper towels and terry cloth, and it got rid of everything except a few tiny areas that are more like scratches or imperfections in the metal. Might be worth trying with ScotchBrite to see how it does with those areas but I bet you would end up...
  6. Door jams delivered cleaned / polished?? What product to use?

Mine looked the same. I used Citrisurf and it did a great job. Actually almost too good because I ended up with an area on the outside of the door that was clearly cleaner and slightly lighter/shinier than the rest of the truck. I ended up doing the whole truck. Was actually very similar and...
  7. Nationwide delivery HOLD on all CyberTruck. Accelerator issue possible

Schedule for pick up the 16th in Raleigh. CT is at SC already. App still shows scheduled for 16th. Texted SC but no response so far. (Crazy how hard it is to talk to a human). VIN in the 5800s
  8. North Carolina Cybertrucks?

They wanted me there ASAP but I can’t make till next week. They are “letting” me wait until Tuesday. I understand. Raleigh SC has no extra room. (They are building a second SC in north Raleigh that should help a lot).
  9. North Carolina Cybertrucks?

I also just got text that CT is on site and please schedule pick up asap. (12/26 order, VIN on 4/9, Raleigh delivery). But so far the “schedule delivery” button on the app is still grayed out and can’t reach anyone by text or call. Not sure when I can pick it up.

  11. North Carolina Cybertrucks?

  12. North Carolina Cybertrucks?

VIN assigned yesterday! (4/9). Order date 12/26. AWD. Raleigh
  13. Camera calibration error

I had that happen several times on my X after delivery last fall. I could go in to the sevice menu and “re-calibrate” cameras. Would fix the error for a few hundred to a couple of thousand miles, while I waited for service appointment, but it would always recur. Service center realigned cameras...
  14. Matched with Tesla installer = VIN time?

Ordered 12/26, Raleigh NC, within a couple of weeks (mid January) I got the installer “match”. Nothing since. Not sure it has anything to do with VIN assignment. Did talk with the installer but was all preliminary discussion. They didn’t seem to know any more than I did at that point.
  15. North Carolina Cybertrucks?

Ordered 12/26. Raleigh delivery. No VIN yet. Kinda glad it’s not here yet, sounds like they are still working out some kinks.
