Fair evaluation I think.
If you haven't seen Sandy Munro's comparison videos on youtube (there are 5 total), they're much better IMO. He's having to go a lot on specs and from an engineer's perspective. Episode 3, in particular, is very interesting (Driveline & Off-Roading)
Under 5K would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. I live in FL and my commute isn't very far (about what Musk predicts would be daily average from solar cover). I'd essentially never have to home charge on a typical week since work and home are nice and open with no shade and good solar...
from what Elon has said, sounds like CT is going to be packed to the gills with the newest Tesla tech. Musk being Musk, I'd say that tech will be on all CT models.
Solar will of course be extra, hoping no more than 5-7k.
Tow hitch, rims, upgraded interior, and performance are standard...
On a simple Physics level (and from what I understand on radar/lidar, which is little) radar/lidar are useless and frankly ancient. Radio/micro-waves (radar)are too long for detailed identification, not all objects reflect them and can only identify surfaces (not things on surfaces)...
