Update for whoever cares. My installer said I only breached the PPF and not the vinyl. He was awesome enough to replace it for free.
Hopefully this thread saves someone with a wrap to always use the FAN attachment, NOT the needle one like I used.
Great questions from everyone! It's a 3M gloss black wrap with PPF. The invoice expired so I can't see specifics on thickness, brand of PPF, etc. I'm going to call the installer Monday to get this right...
I do live very rural so it's not a 5 or 10 minute drive to a car wash. Pressure washing...
Expensive lesson! I am sure many people will chime in with the correct way to scrub bugs off the front of the CT but this has me questioning if I should go back to the more durable stainless. This wrap was done just two weeks ago. This is my 3rd time trying the wrap route and I think it's time...
I just got a text from my local SC that the part arrived today and it only took them 2 hours to install. CT is ready for pickup tomorrow. Anyone else? (Is it too early for April Fools?)
I'll find out soon here in north Idaho... I'd imagine the north is more welcoming than the south, ironically.
I took a break and drove other rigs for the past six months because the attention got to be too much, both positive and negative. But I miss the steer by wire, FSD, rear steering, and...
Dewalt cordless inflator. Keep a battery charger and 2 batteries in the vault under storage.
Also have a Dewalt electric chainsaw. Necessary for forest living.
They're 275/65/20 which I think is same as stock?

We've just had mostly rain here in north Idaho off and on and they're doing great on my muddy backroads. On dry pavement you can definitely hear it in the cabin when you're going slow but I don't mind it. Last winter I almost slid a Rivian R1T straight off of a cliff going downhill without studs...
I live in north Idaho deep in the woods where the backroads often turn to sheets of ice. We got one light dusting last week that's melted already but that was enough to get me to the tire shop to get these Hakkapeliitta's studded and installed.
I scoured this forum and the manual for ages to...
Lubricant fixed my tonneau cover. It had no problem opening but it kept binding up when I'd try to close it at the 90 degree turn. Found some "Liquid Wrench" spray in my shop and that solved the problem 100% and haven't had any issues since.
New Beast, less than 1K miles on it. I open the frunk either with the app or center screen and right when it gets to the top it seems like it can’t hold itself up and starts slowly closing. It closes slower than the electric close. Just opened a service ticket unless anyone has any ideas of how...
