CHARGING THE BEAST ….11 stops in 1,000 miles.
I know many of you that do long distance drives with the Cybertruck understand how optimum charging works, but it was an education for me the first time. On my 1,000 mile return from Dallas to Florida.
At the start I simply asked Grok to plan the...
Agree…..the good part is that Elon has built a company in Tesla that listens and responds. Short true story …… late one evening on X a few months back, somehow found myself in a conversation with Elon. initially I thought it to be just a scammer trying to get my SSN and email address. But after...
Dear Rosanna, Rosanna Dana,
This is not about me for the umpteenth time. It is about a totally unnecessary alarm going off when you are in FSD having a car on your left and one 2 lengths behind you Playing a stupid game of keep up with Cyber Truck. You increase the speed 1 mph and the dash...
This is like having a conversation with my EX. It ends up having no relationship to the topic. Now I am a bad guy and should not even use FSD. There is absolutely nothing in your response that is on topic…..go back to the start. It is about a loud blaring alarm going off at the wrong time Is...
If you think my comments on an unsafe alarm was fun…..wait till I comment on how often Tesla has you stopping to recharge to maximize charging efficiency during a 1,000 mile trip….A Cyber Truck battery size that gives you 320 miles of range is near meaningless.
I think this group have a reading comprehension issue. How many times I do need to say this is not about me. Why does everyone continue to try to make this nasty and personal? I am simply bringing up an issue of an unnecessary loud alarm that I think is an unnecessary safety issue if it comes on...
I DO! …..don’t mean to hurt your imaginary hearing being so loud.😂
Context Depending…..I‘m saying how it does work on our Interstate Highways……if you don’t drop it down to the next lower setting it will far exceed the speed limit and go to the maximum of that setting in a lower speed zone...
After driving 18 hours straight manly on FSD I learned a few things. I don’t think that some of you fully understand how FSD works….I didn’t.
If you set the FSD on STANDARD, it limits the speed to 65 miles an hour, you set it on HURRY it limits the speed to 75 miles an hour, if you set it on...
Not that anybody is really interested, but I got my five star rating and disconnect from FSD for doing the following…… during my 18 Hour drive……
1. For exceeding FSD 85 speed limit., 2. Testing to see exactly how many miles per hour you have to exceed to disconnect FSD..3. Two for reading the...
This issue has zero to do with the speed law. All of Tesla max speed controls allow you to exceed the speed limits if you so desire. It is about safety of a very distracting unsafe unnecessary alarm.
Where have I said anything about driving 100mph? I find it amazing how facts get so distorted.
I am saying the alarm method of notifying a driver is exceeding the rules is unnecessary and potentially dangerous. I also agree knowing how to get around is a solution, but does not address the unnecessary existing safety it now posses. The first reaction you initially have is to tap the...
Totally agree…..everyone is still missing the point I am trying to make. At 85 mph it doesn’t need to be a loud blaring alarm with the screen blinking red. There is no emergency from creeping up 1 or 2 mph trying to get out of traffic. It in itself can distracting and cause an accident. A simple...
You obviously haven’t driven lately on our Interstate Highways. I just finished 18 hours straight coming and going. If you set FSD on MadMax, you quickly become a target for other drivers either tailing your ass or trying to pass the Cyber Truck as it set itself on 85 mph. I find it safer to...
You missed the point. If the idea is safety ….it isn’t safe to disconnect the FSD at 85 mph with a loud blaring horn and a blinking red screen with a car next to you and one on your ass.….BREAKING FSD RULES OR NOT.
