Yes, Tesla said it is possible to add PowerWall to 3V gateway. Special provisioning required to dumb down the gateway, because the PowerWall 3 becomes the brains. Once you have the PowerWall, DC panels plug into the PowerWall itself.

I saw this also. Mine is a little off, but SS said it was in spec. From the manual, it looks like we might be able to access the aft most bolt after pulling down the weather stripping. Tightening it a little might pull the strip down enough to make it less unsightly.

As long as charger is on backed up loads. To test, turn off power to house and make sure charger still has power. What kind of Gateway do you have?
