No such thing as best. You need to shop around, it all depends on your history, where you live and even what you use it for. I’m paying around 800 for six months with Progressive with just me on the car.
I didn’t like the rigid flaps, so I got ones from muslogy on Amazon. I haven’t had a chance to put them on but they are flexible:

I've had great luck with Lectron - I have their charger for my CT and their auto switcher to run an oven in the garage and charger for Model Y. Nothing but great so far. I got Lectron because when I got my Model Y, no chargers where available from tesla - last year when the price drop occured...
Well, this went off topic a bit. Let's get on topic - yes the demand will die down from initial release. Once the media attention is away from the billion things "wrong" and billions of "recalls" with the CT, and interest rates go down, demand will return.

Yes it does, less features lower price generally. So if I'm willing to have a smaller truck, no FSD, no 4ws, then I'd get a Maverick for under 30k. If you are comparing to a CT, then you have to compare features at same price.
