Yeah, I saw their design and like that even less! What I really want is someone to just replicate the OEM design in carbon fiber just a straight bolt on replacement. Extra beef is great but let’s just K.I.S.S. this!
Hi Chris,
A vinylwrap is semi-permanent, meaning if you want to change it, you have to tear it off, and it cannot be reused. Wraps also have to be installed using some tools and expertise. Our covers are magnetic. You just slap them onto your truck's freshly cleaned stainless steel surface...

What @Kahpernicus said ☝️ I didn't use heat gun on mine as I wrapped it in the summer (100F) and didn't need one, but we use heat gun on customer CTs that we wrap and no issues. PPF and vinyl can't tolerate the temps needed to damage the steel.
Nah. PPF/vinyls can't take much more than 250 degrees. Corner wrapping and shaping are done in quick fashions and around that temperature.
Steel anodizing gets into the 500 F range and higher. You'd have nothing but black pieces of bubble gum vinyl before any color change happens on the SS.
Since you and Abstract Ocean only have your wraps on fro 6 months or less, my plan is to leave it on there for years...like 2-4 years. Do you anticipate it leaving residue if on for that long (or longer)?
...edge first and then just peel in chunks. I found that peeling in quick motions (as much as possible) tends to be easier than going slower.
As for ceramic - definitely no. You can put ceramic over the PPF/vinylwrap but not under it, as ceramic coating will prevent the adhesive from doing its job.
I think not based on one quick bulk wrap I did out of curiosity but that one didn't have time to stay...it was a 1hr job. So not sure. I do plan on trying later this year though.
Yes, it wraps well. I did mine in vinyl with PPF on front facing items to protect against highway/rock damage.
I see you're in Brighton, thats about 50 miles from where I had mine done in Sterling Heights.
Send a DM and we can talk further if needs be.

Sounds fun. Here's mine.
Most used:
1. As mentioned by @Ddanis60 , 3d printed door handle closers. I put them on before I did a vinylwrap to help with the fingerprints but now, I just use them all the time.
2. Mud flaps. I ordered the Tesla ones and aftermarket ones, and the aftermarket...
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I know not to trust til tok but when someone who wraps send you this video and you just bought a $120k vehicle you should make sure beyond a doubt that is safe. Just sayin??♂️
