This was a fun project with some awesome people! DIY Wrap Club (Formerly TESBROS) together with Bearded Tesla wrapped this one-of-a-kind Cybertruck.

...a sheet and bak onto the rear of the same thin sheet. No other vehicle is made this way. The highest quality PPF sheets are thicker than a vinylwrap and despite being the most expensive, are the most difficult to install on the CT because they have multiple layers. The material hides...

I don't think the gloss or matte finish makes much difference when it's being applied. I don't have a ton of experience wrapping cars. I did a simple black satin stripe on the hood of one of my son's Jeep and did my other son's full car in glossy blue and found the approach that worked best was...
...functionality, durability, and aesthetics for the same price.
I like the dashboard mount for simplicity though, especially with the black vinylwrap to make it discreet. Wrapping the rear when doing a roof glass mount light be a nice way to blend it with the headliner. Even better, a snap on...
...floating around that the original PPF wraps Tesla offered had something to do with C-Cube. Not sure if it’s identical, but they still call it a SX3YOEM color today. The current vinylwraps Tesla offers are manufactured by the Tesla Design Studio.

Most definitely worth more than Vinyl. 3 years after putting a matte black vinylwrap on my MS it’s finally showing its wear. ($4500 with Crome delete 3 years ago.) Vinyl doesn’t protect much as it tears easily with the wrong road hazard or if Karen opens her SUV door the whole way - there goes...
...will destroy the wrap, making a clear wrap thoroughly pointless.
Only question is: is PPF worth it over vinyl? I’d say yes if you’re truly dedicated to your color choice and want longevity out of it. Vinylwraps WILL tear and peel within 3-5 yrs and look like garbage. Good PPF will last 7-10...
I bought a Tesoro’s DIY PPF wrap kit. I chose PPF over Vinyl thinking the wet application process would be easier due sliding sheets to the exact location and ease of squeegeeing. I attacked the job solo after watching and rewatching their training videos. I ordered the kit that was precut with...

OEM paint-like finish – no waviness, distortion, or “orange peel” textures
4x stronger protection compared to traditional vinylwraps

Those slats aren’t plastic I don’t think. They feel like powder coated aluminum maybe?
That said my lightbar is plastic and that’s wrapped without any difficulty.
Really? I was told by my wrappers that vinyl won't stick to plastic well. I was asking them if they could wrap my wheel covers at the time....they said there's no good way to get it to stick to plastic...hmmm... 🤔
Do I even want to ask how much a custom design wrap costs? And are they limited to vinyl vs PPF? Sorry, I'm an idiot when it comes to this aspect.
Like many others, I love to slat wrap part!
