Let's share our Halloween trix this year. I'll start. Just in time for TRON ARES updates, I found a quick, fun, and affordable Tron lines option.
Amazon has these reflective vinyl 6x20 for $17 at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DRYWJS96
I used a Paper Guillotine cutter like this...
THAT RESIDUE IS CRAZY. I would have cried.
I'm pleased to report that my 3m Vinyl left zero residue. None. I wiped it with alcohol before re-applying the new wrap, but it wasn't necessary (and I may have forgot to do it on a couple panels).
I have a Vinylwrap and sometimes add magnetic sheets for the day that have worked great. 16" x 24", 3 of them, back doors and gate, and they hold fine. I have not gone highway speeds.
Cover it with a stenciled vinylwrap layer. Should look professional and clean then... Awesome work. I imagine it's easy to cut a wire and/or install a switch to enable/disable the built in tray. Elon YEARS ago claimed a software feature was coming to do that but it's never manifested. 2 weeks...
if you’re gonna wrap your truck definitely go with vinyl for $2000 or you can wrap it yourself for under 500. Then answer Graphics for $150 on eBay like I did on my black red one I couldn’t decide what color to do my second side I had AI draw a picture of it and I made it happen.
Also curious about this.. I'm planning to use the same company next week.. How is it holding up? Any lifting? Did they wrap around the corners or just cut on the edge of the panels? Is the matte hard to keep clean? I'm trying to decide between Matte Black and Satin Black.
Ugh...I just spent countless hours removing protectaclear from my truck since I couldn't get a good finish on it. But I can say, that stuff is durable!!!
...and salt easily dissolves in rain or road puddles.
Also... Those pictures of the white wrap is on a Cybertruck with an pre-existing vinylwrap beneath the magnetic one. In this case, much of the Care & Instruction Guide does not apply since you cannot remove the base layer vinylwrap, anyway.
This looks interesting, but am I correct that the maintenance instructions recommend removing the wrap within 2 days of getting wet with rain or washing to allow drying under the wrap? That sounds like a lot of work if that is the case
Our wraps have now been tested over an existing wrapvinyl at 80 MPH so far with out any trouble. See thread below:

Thanks for the detailed response.
Increasing the thickness of the magnetic panel so that you may be confident it could hold up under more extreme conditions will likely be counterproductive as most potential buyers would not be as satisfied with the increased thickness.
Personally I would be...
We'd love to just immediately drop a new product that can do everything for everyone, but bringing a product to market that works as promised requires a lot of thought, planning and engineering. People are spending their hard-earned money on our products, so we must make sure they work, and work...
Would you sell just the cantrails in a gloss black? If so how much? My CT is vinylwrapped and the cantrails will be replace. With all cantrails being replace this could be a new market for your product.
Here's our first test applying a Magnetic Wrap over an already existing vinylwrap. This example is in a Matte White finish and has been tested at 80 MPH so far with no trouble.
