Hazy Windows FINALLY Clean with BLUE Scotch-Brite Pad!

Wait. You do realize those notifications are for cleaning the windshield in front on the cameras though, right? It can't know what the rest of your windshield looks like. And those cameras are hidden behind that plastic thing-a-ma-jig piece that supports your rear-view "backseat" camera...

3 Ways to Install Your Wolfbox Dash Cam – Which One Works Best for You?

The digital rearview has advantages over the existing rearview camera: Probably the top reason is that it's less susceptible to water since most people install it at top of the tonneau. There are covers you can purchase or print Helpful if you've got the tailgate down while hauling...
  3. 3 Ways to Install Your Wolfbox Dash Cam – Which One Works Best for You?

Why do you need to add a rearview mirror for God’s sake? You have a rearview camera already you can expand to cover the entire huge screen. Just because your a creature of habit and need a screen that looks like an old fashioned rear view mirror. I took that silly mirror down the first day and...

    Thoughts From First Test Drive

Just tap the camera button on the steering wheel to bring up a large rear view. It takes over the screen but if you need something big, there it is.
  5. Thoughts From First Test Drive

Regarding rear view visibility, I will say once you get used to it, it’s not a big deal. I also thought it was weird how rear view camera is gone when a turn signal is on, but have gotten used to it. Plus, the side camera does give a decent rear view. In short, you’ll get used to it and I don’t...

    Thoughts From First Test Drive

I’m glad you are finally joining the club. I will second your notion of camera washers. Not only for the rearview camera, but for the side cameras as well. This should have been standard. One push of the washer button should clear all of the cameras at once. Especially since the CT rearview...
  7. Thoughts From First Test Drive

Converted my day 1 reservation to a preorder for the $60K trim, just to have the option to purchase next year. Test drove a 2026 AWD for a refresher and it really impressed me, felt like a noticeably refinement of the truck I originally tested. The body panel and door alignment was perfect. The...
  8. What changes would you like to see in the next Cybertruck update?

I love my AWD CT and am just under 3 months of ownership. Some of these are from personal experience, some are based on reading others experiences here. In no particular order: *ASS *FSD with no epilepsy symptoms @ $49/mo *all around camera washers *Rear view mirror camera setup *400+ mile real...

What changes would you like to see in the next Cybertruck update?

Literally every review of the Cybertruck slammed Tesla for their rear view mirror. "It's a joke" is the kindest comment I have read. Tesla needs to do another larger electronic Rear View Mirror in the current location, with a camera mounted on the plastic piece between the top of the tonneau...

The Cybertruck is not overpriced. It’s a bargain.

what you missed mentioning is something you may not understand until you drive the cyber truck for a while. It is something that’s hard to describe. That is the feeling of being ”safe.“. That feeling coupled with the latest upgraded FSD puts the cyber truck in a class by itself?

The Cybertruck is not overpriced. It’s a bargain.

Just got back from a demo of a AWD premium model. One thing's for sure, it doesn't drive like it looks! With the "squircle" steering wheel, steer by wire, and the 4 wheel steering, it drives like a much smaller vehicle. A few other driving observations and thoughts on the base vs premium: •...

Hansshow V2 to replace V1 (rear view mirror)

I believe there is a V2 but I am waiting for a version that has integrated side cameras (e.g., that uses the Gentex FDM/CMS system) as well.

Hansshow V2 to replace V1 (rear view mirror)

I bought a camera for 100 bucks and printed a housing for the roof.

3D Print Mirror Delete Covers (now printed in stainless steel)

If I was much younger, I likely would delete the mirrors, but my aging eyes now take so much longer to refocus. I would love it if somebody could make a tap that splits the feed from the fender camera and displays it on a monitor? It has to use a standard data interface. It's too expensive to...
  15. Hansshow V2 to replace V1 (rear view mirror)

I’m considering replacing V1 due to non functioning front camera. is there also a V2+? It’s my understanding that I will also need to replace the rear camera. Snaking the V1 wire was a pain. Any helpful videos? And I would appreciate a link for STL file for new rear camera housing. is...

A couple of gripes I hope Tesla corrects

2nd your insights on 2 points 1. For this who need reading glasses, the display is *just* at the odd distance between needing readers / and not. Bigger font option would be nice. 1.B. Reading glass needers also touches on the 'rear camera' which as an image of the rear view - presents the image...

🚀 My Cybertruck 100% FSD Fully Autonomous Coast to Coast Attempt — Atlantic City to Santa Monica (LIVE) - by browncowboy

  18. Consumer service experience - be forwarned Hansshow

I ordered a rear view camera from Hansshow. They claim to have shipped and delivered it, but the package only contained the camera cover and a tray I also ordered, not the actual camera. Any attempts to contact them have failed so far: they don't answer their phone (either voice or text)...

Any bed cap vs. no cap range/efficiency data?

I have a roof camera and digital rearview. I’m just trusting autonomy more and more and it doesn’t make sense to me to take away one of its eyes. Have you heard of anyone attaching a spare to the OEM crossbars somehow? I was kind of thinking strap it to a molle panel or something. is there a...

Any bed cap vs. no cap range/efficiency data?

I think it might partially block the camera, but any aftermarket rear view camera could solve that. V14.2 will still work even with the tailgate down.
