I’m gonna keep my Y and Turo that. Possibly the Cybertruck as well, once I kind of learn how Turo works.
Honestly, I would not mind renting out to special events like weddings or let local Solar installers use for expos or things like that where it’s going to help bring attention to their...
Turo has monthly rentals I’m sure you can afford if you can buy a 100k vehicle. We all have problems . Wait your turn like the rest of us that have waited 4 years.

If you ever need proof not to rent your car on Turo to idiots.
But that is a bit worrying how flimsy those CT panels are attached. Almost looks like glue.
Because I won’t receive my CT until 2025, when I saw one for rent on Turo… I jumped!
First and foremost, it exceeded all of my expectations. I’ve driven the Models X, Y and 3 and personally I think the Cybertruck is the best vehicle Tesla has ever made.
Second, I’ve done the math and any of...
...is what I plan to do out the gates.
I didn't plan on the Foundation Series, or price bump when I made my reservation in 2019. The compromise is Turo, $7500 commercial vehicle tax credit, depreciation expense deducted from Turo earnings. This truck may actually pay itself off. Not at all what...
Nice story.
I read somewhere that Tesla's 0 reading in battery is similar to the gas meter for an ICE car. There could actually be 2-3 gallons left after the meter reaches 0. Sound like it is true in your case.
This is definitely an opportunity if an early delivery. By the time I get mine there will be hundreds on Turo.
Would I rent one sure price? There was a Fisker on there for a hundred bucks. I wouldn't pay $300 a day even for just one day. But something in between.
I've rented several S's...
...my 3/21 order to tactical grey, so I suspect that delayed me a bit. I saw on the Tesla Hawaii FB page a picture there are allegedly 3 or 4 CT on Oahu that were seen at the Kakaako staging lot. There's another wrapped one shipped from Georgia and available on Turo for $800/day.
...in every facet! This is a fully loaded Cybertruck Foundation Series like new, private party sale, 3k miles, always garaged, never rented out on Turo, wrapped and tinted professionally not DIY ($7000 value), AMAZING truck loaded with all the options and slated to receive the truck bed battery...
...how many other vehicles they have listed. They don't have any other listings, either.
The biggest difference with the insurance options with Turo is how much of a deductible you want to pay. This host probably chose the 90 plan which only is a 10% cut to Turo. Get the most money.
If they...
My goal is to throw it on Turo and take advantage of the scarcity before the market is flooded. I see a few reservations for sale on eBay but I haven’t heard of a horror story yet.
Even regular rental car companies are mainly looking at credit check and valid license, not doing a full background check. Something like Turo, which seems to be the top of a few peer-to-peer car rental apps/companies, might be a little looser or more automated; I've seen search results...
...this is good news that I will see a vin soon too. Congrats!
also our state is getting a little more action. My wife spotted one in our neighborhood in EG. Taken yesterday afternoon. Apparently guy rented it on Turo and it has TX plates. I missed it unfortunately but still cool to hear about.
Renting out your Cybertruck on Turo? Now, that's an intriguing idea! If I had one, I'd definitely mull it over. It's like making some extra cash while your truck isn't in use, right? As for pricing, I reckon I'd do some research, check out similar listings on Turo, and then set a competitive...
