    Your best bet is to assume you'll hold it for a year. If you decide you don't want it for any reason, you'll probably do best renting it on turo full time and then selling it at the 1 year mark and using the proceeds to buy your forever CT with your 2nd reservation #.

    I am not sure comparing a Turo rental Cybertruck with 18 Km is a fair comparison. Specialty vehicles ( sports cars, Ford Raptor, Cybertruck) on rental services are often abused.     The A Pillars are certainly a challenge but the person renting the car out has to protect their vehicle and 'train' people how to use it. Otherwise I'd say any A Pillar problem is on the owner being negligent. I am not the kind of person that would rent his car out so I have a very jaded point...

    Hope you get it figured out. You might try either Turo or Hertz, Enterprise, Etc. They all offer long term, monthly vehicle rentals. I have a Jeep to sell once I get my CT delivery and considered selling it now and doing a rental. So I already looked into pricing and it wasn't that bad.

    A car (or house) used in a crime can be taken. Yes, the driver could have not cut so close and controlled the vehicle. They're the one who gunned it into the corner. The something they could have done was control their following distance. Being in jail doesn't change the liability tho. -Crissa

    Car sharing renting out of Cybertruck (i.e. Turo)

    I’ve been searching for a Cybertruck on Turo in LA, but haven’t found one yet. I prefer to rent vehicles for a weekend, or family trip, before dropping $100K on it. I know I’m getting gouged on the rental, but it’s a worthwhile investment to make sure the vehicle fits my family’s needs.

    Before final payment, can you test drive?

    ...acceptance. You can inspect the car, and the interior. The liability transfer has to take place via signing or Tesla Application acceptance. If fitment is an issue. I highly suggest either reaching out to a generous owner, or Turo. Maybe there is a showroom nearby that has an open Cybertruck.

    I have an S and I love it. I have been eyeballing the new hybrid Corvette for the same money, fully loaded to the hilt. I can even test drive it :)
